Briar Lane
Briar Lane was a total joy to stay at. Our hosts Sue and Pete were simply warm and welcoming from the second we arrived for our 5 day stay 10th-15 February 2019. We were fortunate enough to stay in their old family home, 1820's something, which they have lovingly restored. The house offered every convenience and comfort of a self catering holiday and Susan had also popped enough provisions in the fridge for our first breakfast, just until we could do a little shopping. Wish we could have stayed longer and we will go back .

We stayed there one night prior to early morning flight. What a lovely place the units are. Well kept, warm, all you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended

This was my second stay at Briar Lane and it never disappoints! Such cosy comfortable and beautiful accomodation with gorgeous antique furniture and incredible paintings from Susan, Peter and their family. So much effort has gone into making your stay so pleasant from fresh bread, cereals, home made jams, great coffee and hot chocolate. The farm views are breathtaking and the English gardens are a treat to behold. Thank you Susan and Peter for sharing Briar Lane with everyone.Until next time,Bridget x

Old English charm bed and breakfast with plenty of space and generous provisions. Lovely valley views and an easy walk to great cafe's etc..I've rebooked with Susan and Peter, it's a cosy place to stay.

A truly relaxed, lovely indoor and outdoor haven in close walking distance to shops and great restaurants ! Lots of space and a washing machine was fantastic!

Great little hide away. Peaceful lovely country side over looking horses. Sheep. Fruit trees. Fresh bread waiting on arrival. Good hearty breakfast home made jams and stewed fruit. You take a step back in time with this beautiful cottage
