The restaurant was empty when we arrived at 5 pm. They put us in a back corner “look like the office”. While eating they kept taking chairs from our table without even looking at us. Restaurant stillempty. We felt being a big inconvenience.Food was average. We asked for extra spice sauce that wasn’t spicy at all.Margi’s were okay. Needed to ask for cutlery… no napkins whatsoever. We left after 40min and the restaurant was still empty.End up getting pizza at the the thirsty camel and chilling by the beach.

We really enjoyed our meal. Food was fresh and delivered quickly. The Mexican food was an interesting spin compared to other Mexican meals we have had. Great variety of cocktails.Would definitely go again.

Best place in town by far. Chilled relaxed atmosphere with friendly wait staff. Has a great vibe backed up by gear Mexican food and awesome cocktails. Live music added to the atmosphere. Order at the table via app and drinks and food magically arrive. Great array of tequila based cocktails. So happy to see a place make a good Caipirinha, took me back to South America. We ordered the 4 tacos which were tasty and filling. Must have the salsa Roja.

We got the calamari, fish and chicken tacos and they were all incredible. If the kitchen didn't close by the time we had finished our first serving, we both agreed we would have ordered every other taco on the menu (our fault for arriving late). It's not a tacky rip-off Mexican venue, they have quality ingredients and well thought out menu. Even the side of guacamole was delicious. The extensive list of margaritas was a Tequilla and Mezcal dream. The staff were friendly and happy and the venue is beautiful.

Booked a table for eight adults and two kids. We were ushered to a cramped space clearly not big enough for our party.Ordering is via a QR code system, which might have been ok for 2020, but not 2022. Some menu items that were advertised were not on the QR code menu.It was way overpriced for what it is. Limited menu and the service wasn't great. $6 for a tablespoons worth of guacamole as an example.Just go down to the local pub, the food will be better and half the price.

Worst Mexican I've ever had.-overly priced small serving sizes-poor service , never even received cutlery.-most of their dishes are filled up with plain corn chips.-dingy scratched tables which don't get cleaned after the last person before seatingThis needs extensive improvements if it wants to stay open, there's not much choices around the area but even so this is sad.. they really need to up their game.

Great setting & healthy...ish Mexican but not traditional Mexican. Prices are reasonable and the food is freeesh! Liquor prices are good though I think we’re all sick to death of expecting that we’ll earned glass of red or white & copping 200cls. Mind you, this’s been a wonderful windfall for both the respective governments & the proprietors of these fine establishments & certainly addresses the responsible service of alcohol but to me, it’s like someone sticking their finger up at you & saying, “that’s all you can have”! La Costa, consider BYO & charge a reasonable corkage.I went for the pseudo seafood basket. Healthy? Maybe not but fresh? Yes!Much more can be done to improve the experience, both from service & customer engagement (which is minimal) to menu variety but it’s worth a visit! You be the judge.
