Really great climb. Dont worry if you have no rubbish to leave in the hut near the helicopter pad, plenty of other people do that for you.

Great hike. Take plenty of water and food. Only 2 streams to cross over, refill water bottles at second crossing.

AWESOME , excellent hike . Try from Josephine falls end for the best challenge. Very steep , rouged. Mind challengingly. NOT ! for the inexperienced hiker . If you want to conquer Qlds highest peak i recommend you do the pyramid first then broken nose and the Devils thumb in Cape Trib . Views are mediocre. Depends on weather . Some good views at helipad evac point . Heaps of bird life and strange flora . Bartle Frere skinks awesome colours aswell as frog .Keep eye out at creek crossing at base for frog .P.s TAKE PLENTY OF WATER ! AND VERY LIGHT PACK.DO IT !.

An awesome hike which can be completed in a day (or less). Hike up was about 2.5 - 3 hours and same on return. The actual summit doesn’t have a lookout but there’s a few awesome spots about 6-7km up which offer the best east facing views. If you’re in a group watch out for leeches. I was fine hiking solo but the groups I spoke to said they had leeches landing on them.

9 hour climb with packs return 22.5kms (not 15km as sign posted) a big day out! Left at 630am back by 4pm with a jog down the hill the last 3kms - not for the faint hearted as bouldering and Rick climbing obstacles! Well worth it!
