West Gippsland Hospital

I had my son at West Gippsland hospital and we were in a room by ourselves once he was born and were treated great.

I have called regarding a previous emergency patients condition gets worse after following a doctors advice.I was rudely transferred 3 times to then be greeted with an even worse attitude ‘nurse on duty’ that told me to call an ambulance because “how am I supposed to know, I wasn’t on shift” and as I continued to explain his symptoms then compared to now, & that it is an allergy I’m just here to ask if this is something to come to the hospital about or wait..? She uses her attitude voice to tell me ‘i just told you, if you are worried there’s an ambulance’This is disgusting as many people do not have ambulance cover or are just concerned carers seeking advice.There is many adds about blocking up ambulances and only calling when necessary.

Terrible service I was sent up by my doctor to have an absess drained. I seen the nurse and she said it was fine and they wouldn't drain it and to go home and try to pop it.I wouldnt give them a star at all! 0 stars!

Very poor service at the emergency department. My wife was left for over 4 hours when they weren’t even busy. She ended up having to check herself out in the end.
