Anglicare Op Shop - Bankstown
A nice op shop in the heart of Bankstown. The store is surprisingly large. As usual there are loads of women's clothes, shoes and accessories. Interestingly there's a huge supply of women's bras.Unlike most op shops there's a lot of men's clothes. I counted at least seven racks of menswear and about thirty pairs of shoes. There are a few children's items, not much for babies or infants.A quick list of other items- toys- books- puzzles- a few kitchen itemsThere's also a community pantry. For twelve dollars you can fill a bag with various items you may need. Items include- pasta sauce- tinned fruit and tomato- baked beans and spaghetti- noodles, rice and pasta- tea and milk- cerealI didn't purchase anything so I didn't interact with the staff.

Brand new shop, not too far from the train station. New fittings, lighting and clean design however it appears to be suffering badly from poor upper management and inconsistent decision making.Unfortunately having no permanent store manager results in the store potentially losing customers due to poor layout, lackluster frontage displays and bizarre instore arrangements.High priced items can be stuck up on a high shelf, seen by no one, or hidden at the back of the store where they're easily ignored by most and yet premium floor and shelf space at the front of the store is taken up by items that don't even have a price tag.CDs are in one pile, DVDs are in a completely separate location and PC or PlayStation games are in yet another location instead of being housed in a single media related area to make it simpler for customers. It's this type of subtle attention to detail that can benefit sales and make it a store worthy of regular patronage.

Nice shop, you could find clothes that fit you, prices are ok but you can definitely find a second-hand shop better that this one if you are looking for clothes.

Friendly service. This new shop has a lot to offer. Two large fitting rooms are clean.Prices are fair in general. A large silk scarf is $40. Half priced products are available.Would be nice and fun if there is a special discount for one coloured price tag each week.Lots of cute toys for kids. There is a small collection of vinyl records.Products are clean and well chosen.Great locations, only a few minutes walk from Bankstown railway station.
