My girlfriend and I purchased a lounge in October 2021, the original delivery date was January 2022, we called for an update as the date approached, we were informed it would be delivered first week of February. February arrived and still no information, I called again, another delay, now it was going to be first week of March. This process continues and I am finally getting the lounge delivered and it's mid April. I understand there can be delays in shipping and manufacturing. I'm writing this review for the poor customer service and the misinformation provided to my girlfriend who had to fight for information. At one stage she was dismissed by the assistant manager of the store who refused to speak to her as he felt he had dealt with the matter. No notes after any of our conversations were taken by the store, the assistant manager mentioned that after 22 weeks of delay there can be a form of compensation or discount. That is not the case at all, my final dealing with the store was with the manager, Steve. He was professional and his apology for the delays was sincere. He was also upfront and straight to the point in saying there is no policy that entitles a customer to compensation or discount for delays. If his level of communication and handling of the matter was delivered from other staff there would be no issue here. My recommendation if anyone has read this far is to shop around and confirm with other stores what the expected delivery date will be.

Good range of furniture to choose from, including lounges, beds, drawers, buffets, and consoles.We were lucky to get in when we did, and avoided recent price hikes, but due to demand, delivery took an incredible 5 months, but our new lounge arrived as planned, and looks and feels as good as we expected.The delivery guys were punctual, and efficient, but they do not take rubbish away.All in all, highly recommended as a repeat customer.

Very poor satisfaction. My mother in law went in store sat on one lounge, salesman came up and asked he if he could help. she said i want this lounge in a 2.5 seater and 2 recliners to match, he kept apologising as it was his first day.He filled out the paperwork which had no photo of the lounge just stick drawings. 2.5 seater was circled on first page then 2 seater circled on back page.16 weeks later she finally received her order which was a 2 seater lounge that is not the same design.After speaking on and off with the store they basically said tough luck thats what you signed for thats what you get.Absolutely atrocious service will not be recommending to friends or family.

Very disappointed in the service this company provides.We purchased a Byron 1800 Timber table in April this year only to have an issue with the top leaving a ring on it.At first they refused to swap over after many many phone calls they finally agreed there was an issue.The replacement top they were swapping over also looked like it came out of there clearance store.They finally brought a new one after multiple agreements.At this stage the store manager has no power to action anything as it’s all completed by there warranty department.New top arrived and it has caused an issue with the cars as the frame the top is connected too has reduced the size and we can no longer push chairs in or have two people sit side by side.This company is so disappointing to deal with.I have spoken to regional manager , warranty manager they have sent out a technician who doesn’t even look under the table.We have had a carpenter look at frame and he agrees there is an issue.I would like to know other peoples dealings with this company.I just spoke to the service supervisor who didn’t even know what she was calling about.Worst company ever!!!!!!Fair trading will be notified.

This is a couch you can expect to buy from Nick Scali. The orange one in the showroom is apparently the exact the same quality as the grey one we purchased. This photo was taken days after receiving the lounge and Nick Scali have said, after investigating" that the extra leather material which causes the pooling effect in the grey lounge was not covered under warranty and is considered normal.It's a shame they don't show lounges like this in their showroom.Trying to deal with their customer service is hopeless and they haven't offered to replace or repair the lounge - just use a heat vacuum as a temporary solution.We will be raising this with department of fair trading and creating a case with them. I see a lot of other customers having similar issues

Here's a fun challenge to try out before purchasing at Nick Scali.Show the below photos at your local store buy committing to paying thousands for a lounge and see what response you get.We showed this to multiple store and each store said it's not normal and that it should be escalated. Nick Scali head office says this type of puddling" is normal.These photos were taken 2 days after receiving the lounge.Lounge: Brighton Ocean Blue"

No, the photo is not of a 10 year old leather lounge being sold on a Marketplace. It's actually a >$7k lounge bought from Nick Scali and delivered only weeks ago.Heads up if anyone is considering purchasing a lounge through Nick Scali. We bought the Brighton one (more than $7k). First the lounge arrived after 20 weeks, instead of the initial 14-16 weeks as specified at time of purchase.The real issue though is with the quality of the lounge and lack of customer service and support received.As shown in the photo, after sitting on the lounge for a few minutes a clear pooling of the leather happens, and after speaking with a Nick Scali representative, they and their technician say this is entirely normal and it's not a manufacturing fault.The thing is though, if you go into the store and sit on the same lounge, it doesn't do this.We've tried calling multiple times and are constantly told that they'll get back to us, and that we can't speak directly with a senior case manager as we need to wait for their call.They offered to use a heat suction to remove the pooling, but I hardly see this as a resolution if you're paying this much for a product which doesn't represent what's in the showroom.

Absolutely unprofessional and horrible customer service. I bought a dining table 4 weeks ago after confirming at least 3 times if the dining table is in stock. I was not only told but showed in their own system that 4 dining tables are in stock and ready for delivery in their warehouse. They advised the delivery drivers are busy and it would be delivered in 3 weeks. I paid for the dining table in full so, they had one of my dining tables in their warehouse. Close to the delivery date, they messaged us that the delivery is pushed for another month without any reasoning. I found this very dodgy. Back and forth, I was told the dining tables in stock will be delivered to other customers and I have no option but to wait for a month for their next shipment. I felt like I was misled, if they had told me in the start that the dining table is not in stock, I would not have purchased it.Don't trust any of their promises! Every single time, I have been to their store, I have seen at least one customer angry for a similar issue.

If I could give zero stars I really would. Took 5 months to have our couch delivered when we were told it would only take 3 at the very most at the time of the sale. Couch was delivered and the delivery people cut the box open to put the couch in the elevator and scraped and scratched the couch when getting it in and out and now my brand new leather couch has marks and scratches and bits of leather missing. I am now waiting for a solution to be offered. Very disappointed.
