I had ACE Metal Work manufacture and install a new security door to my Victorian terrace. They came and measured twice, took way longer than quoted to manufacture, and after it was installed, discovered that the lock had been slashed with an angle grinder. The lock was taken off to have a new one fitted, but the installer informed me it might be a week or so before it could be installed. A security door without a lock is useless. Thankfully he came back the same day a fitted the replacement lock, a five minute job! After paying in full, I am still waiting for a receipt despite several emails. Overall I am not impressed and would not recommend.

I don't often leave reviews, but the experience we had with Ace Metalwork is worthy of mention. We undertook a massive window replacement project in our unit block. Charles from Ace Metalwork was extremely flexible and acommodating in fitting in with the other trades, even if it meant multiple visits to site. Their workmanship is top level, their friendliness is awesome and their price was far better than their competitors. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything we requested, including some unusual requests, were acommodated happily. The final result - way above and beyond our expectations. Overall, a perfect client experience and highly recommended.

ACE Metal originally installed my security door over twenty years ago. It was looking a little tired so I called them to see what my options were on refurbishing the door or getting a new one. I was absolutely delighted when they said they could refurbish it so I got them to do both this door and my back door. Both doors were stripped, repainted, new fly screens put it and one of the locks was changed so they matched. The result ... AMAZING ... I absolutely love them!I would highly recommend ACE Metal for your security door and window needs.

These guys did an impressive job with our security steel door. Charles came over at short notice, with his pencil and notepad and gave us a quote on the spot which was very competitive. They delivered when they promised and even installed on a Saturday. The quality and craftsmanship is impressive. In 2021 Ace Metalwork fabricated and installed two powder-coated security doors with flyscreens at our house. We were impressed by the quality of the doors, keyed alike to the existing wooden doors, and by the quality of service. Based on that experience, we ordered powder-coated louvered panels to be installed on a carport. Because of inevitable delays due to the Covid pandemic, fabrication and installation were delayed but it was easy to keep track of things. The panels have been installed and are of the same high quality as the security doors and the service matched our earlier experience. We have no hesitation in recommending Ace Metalwork for similar work.

Recently used Ace Metalwork to install a front security door to our terrace and we are absolutely amazed at the quality of the work. The door itself looks fantastic and even catered for the curve at the top of the door. From the first email, contact was fast and the install was quick. Would highly recommend to anyone if they want some grills added to their home.
