Community Pharmacy East Bentleigh

I visited this store needing a blood pressure test. Even though the chemist was not required to give me a test he could see I was upset and offered to help, sensing a possible panic attack. Hassan was calming, generous with his time, offered breathing techniques and helped me feel at ease. Thank you, couldn’t recommend highly enough for friendly and knowledgeable service.

The team at this Pharmacy is outstanding, reliable and organised. They remember every medication involving my mum, keep me informed of any changes, communicate with hospitals and GP. It's one less thing I have to worry about and it's greatly appreciated. Thanks Corey, Pharmacists and staff.

I went in today to get my Xalatan Eye Drops. Got a toothbrush along the way and was going to get charged $23.00 just for the eye drops.I was asked how much I normally pay and I said about $11-$12. The girl went away and After consulting with the manager, the young girl came back with a price of $16.00.I suppose they thought they were doing me a favour by ripping me off by a lesser amount.When I got home I checked the price I paid on the previous script I had purchased and that was $9.99.I accept a difference in price but the difference in this instance is not even comparable. Oh yeah, and they thought to just put a new sticker over the first so you can see in the photo attached

Absolutely extortionate! The prices are BEYOND ludicrous. I don’t care for your “one-time” honoring of price. If you can’t maintain it, DON’T BOTHER AT ALL. Disgraceful from new management/owners - you deserve to go out of business. I’ll take my business elsewhere and I hope others in the area do too.

This pharmacy price gauges way over RRP for prescriptions. I had a script filled last night for a medication that I usually pay around $80 for at most pharmacies (it lasts me only a month). This pharmacy had the audacity to price gauge me to the tune of over $40, charging me $120.51!!! This is absolutely unconscionable conduct. I will never, ever get a script filled here again and I encourage others to boycott a business engaging in such practices.

The new staff at this pharmacy have been really good. The prices are very reasonable and I was offered free delivery! Highly recommend this pharmacy, they also have an sms service which is very convenient. :)

Honestly, pretty disappointing customer experience. About a week ago I had purchased some essence vapouriser from the pharmacy (roughly $70 worth). Once taking it home it worked once and then didn't work again. Unfortuantly with work commitments I came back to the store a week later (don't live close, I was just in the neighbourhood) to let them know. To either ask for a replacement or if not, a credit. The lady serving me advised me that they can't do anything and to call the service number on the box. I thought this was strange, however while still in the store called the number. The company 'In essence' was slightly surprised that the pharmacy wouldn't credit my money back OR provide me with a replacement. While still in the store I advised the pharmacist (someone else this time) who then said he will speak to his manager. Once informing her of what essense told me, she then proceeded to tell me she will speak to her supplier. What on earth! Why waste my time telling me one thing and clearly not know of the return process.Why bother buying anything from the store when really they can't replace it or give your money back and then palm you off to speak to the company? Thankfully the lady over essense was telling me seeing as the pharmacy was so unhelpful and wasn't following correct return process procedure, I could post it to them directly and they would send me a new one. A lot of work just for this. Never have I had these issues at other pharmacies or companies.Also out of curiosity I researched the price and clearly can get it cheaper elsewhere. Waste of time, waste of money, terrible service- wouldn't reccomend!

Exceptional service by the new pharmacy manager and her team. On time every time. The staff are exceptionally friendly. The customer service is at the forefront of what they do. I have no hesitation in recommending this pharmacy to others. With the new team, this pharmacy has come a very long way in delivering top notch service to the community.

The female pharmisist is extremely rude. First time I thought she is probably having a bad day & didn’t think too much of it, but the 2nd time she was just as rude and uninterested in helping/answering questions. I felt like I was an inconveniance to her. Extremely poor customer service and has put me off returning. I’d rather have to go out of my way to another pharmacy than have to put up with such a rude person.

All the staff here are so friendly and helpful!I barely had time to sit down before my script was back in hand!Even as I was sitting there friendly staff members were greeting everyone even if they were just using the pharmacy as a walk throughCouldn’t be happier with my experience here.
