Service was very average, and do not rate the food we had. $37, chips were dry and unsalted and fish was so oily as you can see in the picture that we couldn't eat it. We won't be back.

Horrible service, food and price.The food was ridiculously overpriced and all the food we received was over cooked. The dim sims were bordering burnt and the chips were so over cooked. Bones all through the piece of fish and the oil had clearly not be change for a long time.Horrible customer service too. Older guy arguing with a young kid on service and the young kid was so rude when taking our order.Don’t bother at all.

Do not go here. This shop charges you whatever they want. We ordered a minimum chips and 2 potato cakes. Tapped our card and realised he had charged us $18.50. (And had charged our mates $48 for 2 bits of flake and a minimum chips). We went back in straight away and asked for them to not bother making the food and to just refund us. The guy with tattoos serving said no too bad as he had already dunked the chips in the fryer.We ended up eating the food then going somewhere else to eat as the servings are tiny.These guys are totally dodgy. Don’t waste your money.

The best chips in SA as agreed by our party of 5 that had lunch here today. We decided to stop on for a quick bite for lunch and were so glad we did. Service was good, serve sizes were ample for the price and the food was awesome. 2 of my party had the fish & chips which they both commented saying how nice the fish was and that the batter was just the right thickness and lovely and crispy. The rest of us just had chips which were totally amazing. This is going to definitely be our go to fish and chip shop next time we go for a drive to Beachport.

Thank you owner for these delicious vegetarian pizzas. Oh wait, you forgot to add ham to our ham and cheese pizza? And the thing that I almost chock on wasn’t burnt cork was tandoori chicken?Sorry we shouldn’t question you when you are serving two groups of people. You must be really stressed to yell at us and stated ‘it’s tandoori chicken you don’t tell me it’s burnt!’.And $42 is definitely a fair price for these!

Found this place very nice. We went here two nights during our stay and were quite happy both times. I personally wasn't overly happy with the chips, but the fish and pizzas were fantastic. The food was a bit pricey, but everything in towns like Beachport tend to be because they have additional transport costs. I can see why some people think one of the guys cooking was rude, but I think a lot of those that have come to expect the overly bubbly customer service face on all people serving them and get put-out when someone doesn't pretend to be happy all the time. He wasn't talkative, but he did his job and he wasn't rude.

Two young boys serving. Told my husband he was a rude c*nt for asking how long our fish and chips would take. When asked if that was an in appropriate question we were told he has been there all day and wants to go home. Never will we step foot in or order from that shop. Worst customer service I have come across. Left and had take away from the hotel up the road.
