George Halls Auto Service

Been using George Halls for years. Really lovely staff, who really take care of me and my car. I have never felt ripped off or mansplained, which I have with other service centres.

Dropped a call on a misfiring system and they fit me in no problems. Issue ended being a minor one and an easy fix but I loved the service. So refreshing after dealing with bad to middling mechanics for so long.

Thanks guys, you saved my car yesterday! Always friendly, fair and very quick to assist. George your smile is contagious, thanks again for being an absolute legend and making a major problem disappear in such a short time. Will definitely recommend you in the future :)

Had some major engine work done on our Golf Wagon. Steve from George Halls kept me informed throughout the process. Felt like I am in good hands. They are a super friendly team. You talk directly to the people that work on your car. Totally recommended.

Especially recommend this mechanics for women and lgbtq. I’ve been coming here for years and completely trust them and have faith in their high quality work. One day I had a strange issue that took a while to figure out and they only charged me $30 as it was a small/easy fix. Another time I was out of town and they took the time to chat to me on the phone about my car’s issue so I knew what to say to mechanics where I was. The best part is Steve will explain to you what’s going on in your car if there is an issue, so you can learn (if you want) and feel secure that you’re getting the right work and never feel ripped off. Quite the opposite! Ten stars if I could.

These guys helped me out in a real pinch and sorted my RWC out with a second opinion last minute. The culture seemed like a really positive place to work and they're all so friendly! I second the comment about being a highly recommended mechanic that is all inclusive.

Time always delayed, on me so many times. Recently moved to northern suburb and then new mechanic showed me why I experienced loud noise when driving after their last service. They missed out screw on 2 bolts on the exhaust, and also there are some holes likely to be damaged by it. Once loved mechanic now truely disappointing

Steve and his team have been so fantastic over the years with repairing my various old cars. They make an effort to explain to me repair issues and have also been incredibly helpful in supporting me to purchase a new car. Thanks Steve!
