BB’s Towing & Cash for cars

I had a terrible experience with this company when I sold my car to them last year. Do not use them. Read the genuine and legitimate reviews and stay away! It's pretty obvious to see which ones have been copied and pasted, with quotation marks included. They towed my car and continued to dodge my calls for weeks when chasing payment. I spoke to a different person, or was given a different name every time I did actually get through to someone and was constantly met with weak excuses or went straight to voicemail. Despite the dodgy business dealings and wondering if I had would have to seek legal assistance, I was magically transferred the money due to me months later, a luxury some of their other customers didn’t get. You can clearly see the hundreds of fake reviews they have procured for this business page - fake, phoney and disgusting to take advantage of people for no good reason.

Went above and beyond I would only ever trust these guys to tow my vehicle! Affordable and friendly, the operators were fantastic. Highly recommend if you need an honest towie five stars from me!!

Professional, reliable and competitively priced. Polite on the phone and came when they said they would. If we ever need a towing service again the future, we know who to call :)

Sold them our old car, was quick to sort pick it up and friendly/professional. Dan (from Cash for Cars Canberra) kept saying payment was on its way, then stopped answering our calls. Fortunately Blake (BB's Towing) sorted it quickly once I got through to him.

Service was excellent arrived on time and was extremely helpful!! We had broken down in Canberra and it was so stressful. I was so glad to see the tow truck. Thank you again for your services. Highly recommend :)

First class, friendly and professional towing service. We had the tilt tray truck for our sports car. Definitely recommend their services. Not only was their response time quick the operator was fantastic, knowledgeable and made us feel at ease thank you :)

NO PAYMENT, NO COMMUNICATIONThis business (sole trader Blake Bartley, ABN 86 858 554 981) took my car (Nissan Pulsar) on March 1 but said they would only pay via bank transfer. The driver took my bank details, claiming a transfer would be paid that afternoon.I have tried calling (spoke to a ‘Daniel’ who would not provide their full name) who initially promised payment would be made, but it might take a bit longer. After this, subsequent calls go unanswered (as though they are avoiding my number – it goes through to a full message bank). I tested this by ringing from a different number and got through again to ‘Daniel’ who gave me Blake’s number and told me to contact him for payment.Calls to Blakes number also go unanswered.I emailed Blake a week ago with full details reminding for payment but still no reply and no payment. It seems from other reviews that I am not the first person to experience this.Blake: please get in contact with me to arrange payment (check your emails blake@bbstowing). I would rather resolve this amicably without getting third parties involved – but I will if I need to.Anya

After someone coming into me, I was a bag of nerves. your business took care of everything. I am so grateful for such kindness; your customer service is next to none. I will recommend you guys to everybody!! :) Really looked after me in an awful situation. Thanks again.

If I could give these cowboys 0 stars I would. Like so many they towed my car, faffed around with excuses about following up etc for the payment and have now blocked my number. In fairness it’s only a small amount however I do plan to report the matter to the AFP given that this seems to be their business model.

Quote was fair they arrived in no time. I felt very vulnerable on the side of the road late at night but the service I received from these guys was exceptional. Thanks for looking after me and my car!!
