Mount Sturgeon Summit
It was absolutely beautiful up there. I saw plenty of wild kangaroos along the walk to the summit. It took me about 2 hours to reach Mt Sturgeon's summit from Dunkeld by following the walking trail, the trailhead is just near the tourist information center. You must be well prepared with enough food and water if you wanna make it further.

Mount Sturgeon Summit
A great walk in the past, improved by making a round trip. Brilliant views of Dunkeld and Mt Abrupt. Hard work, tough path on the way up easy path with great steel walkways on the way down. Overall a great 7.5 km walk

Mount Sturgeon Summit
A lot easier than I expected. I parked a bit further up Victoria Valley Road than the official carpark which made the walk shorter. I wasn't aware that you can do a loop from the carpark instead of going up and down the same way.Very windy at the top but amazing views.
