Recycling Centre Balcatta

This place has very high prices on absolute junk. It was great for a laugh. The worst part was hearing the staff being rude to customers, and accusing customers of taking stickers off an item, then asking for the price. Really who cares, give the customer a price, no need to be rude and belittle them. Absolutely disgusting behaviour! I hope this recycling centre improves, as it is not up to the standards of other ones.

While it can be great one day it can be just as bad the next. Prices at shop are on a very frequent basis near that of new items or more. Sometimes staff is very friendly and other times extremely rude. Would be great to have access to all recycled items not just a few bits. For example you need a small piece of metal for something, they won't allow you to look at the scrap metal section so now you go to bunnings, cut what size you need and most of what you bought ends up at the tip's recycling centre.. I you recycled it. Yeah good and bad, could be great but prices waaaay to high. I rarely find something here. FB market place cheaper.

Terrible efficiency by the weight bridge always extremly long waits compared to other facilities. Very hard to run a business using this joint. Time waster

A while ago we went out to dispose of some varying rubbish- when directed to the main tip area there was an individual that shouted out condescending remarks whilst I tried to maneuver the vehicle back towards the dumping area (general waste). It was a worker from the city of Stirling- he felt it funny to shout out obnoxious one liners about my reverse parking skill- good one mate- a paid local govt. worker that heckles the rate payers whilst trying to do the right thing. This happened about 2 months ago- but I just reminded myself about the wonderful experience and just had to give the review!

Way overpriced, no more treasures" to be find the "old" recycling centre was the best in Perth

Went in for a look and couldn't believe how much money they were asking for broken filthy junk.

This place is amazing for bargains on anything from household items to building products like bricks and tiles. Everything is donated but good quality and its for the Workpower charity

Firstly, it's unacceptable that customers are mistreated at the recycling centre. All customers should be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of the circumstances. The way we were treated by the staff members behaving inappropriately and rudely towards their customers, then that is certainly concerning.Secondly, it's disappointing to feel that the service provided at the recycling centre was appalling. As a local government facility, it has a responsibility to provide efficient and effective services to its community members. If the service was subpar, then it's understandable that us as customers would feel frustrated and dissatisfied.Overall, it's essential for local government recycling centres to provide excellent service and treat their customers with respect. Since the Balcatta local government recycling centre failed to do so, then it's crucial that steps are taken to rectify the situation and ensure that it doesn't happen again in the future.

wow some unhappy customers here! i thought it was great on my first visit... yes a lot of the indoor stuff is much like an op shop, but there's lots of construction salvage and landscaping stuff. one happy customer here!

went there because my daughter gets my Grand daughter DVDs and only pays a dollar however when I went I was charged more ?? How are prices managed ? Or does it just depend on who ever is serving?
