I have had my security cameras for about a year and they have stopped working ADT wants to charge me $248 just to send a technician out. When I already pay them a fee every month!!!! Don’t waste your money with these thieves

I've recently terminated my contract with them in favour of a proper system.The reasons that lead to this are:- After first install we had the system go bad, and the installed fixed it (sort of) but it started narrating sensors that were being triggered when the house wasn't armed. I had to call ADT to get instructions on how to fix it because the repair person wouldn't return even though he'd left 10 minutes prior.- We had a week long power outage due to storms and not once did they ring to see if the alarm system was functioning properly, given it had been off-line for days.- Their billing was playing up.- Tech support was non existant.- Now they want to charge me $180 or so for a technician to pick up the alarm system (it was a portable wireless one that I've packed up back into the box), but they won't even get in contact with me to organise that.

My experience with this service has been dreadful. We have been chased to pay invoices for a monitored alarm service that was cancelled many years ago after having managed this up previously and believing it had been resolved at the time. There are some serious concerns regarding the ethics of a company that harass people to pay bills for services not rendered.Disgusting. Beware when you sign up with this company!

Rupesh showed me everything on the computer and my phone and the system on how to use, I was previously at a different address and moved to a new address. He showed me everything I wasnt shown before and I am highly appreciative of this.Rupesh is a huge asset to the business and I highly recommend him. Cant recommend enough.

EDIT: If I could give this company a lower review I would. Despite the timely public response. I am still waiting 2 weeks later for a response to my email. I have not been able to talk to anyone directly by phone (I am authorised on the account). It seems they want to publicly look like they are doing the right thing without actually having to do it.I am disgusted with this company. My pensioner mum sold her house has been charged over $500 for ending the contract. When she questioned it they said she agreed to a 2 year contract. My mum has no memory of this. They provided a renewed contract with no signature from her and said it was just done on the phone. They also cannot provide a recording of the phone call that says she agreed to this or any other proof. Shame on you for taking advantage of vulnerable people!

We made a booking a week in advance due to how busy they were only for our appointment day to come and we received a call 2hrs before our appointment saying he’s unwell and his head is spinning to drive out to see us, are we able to FaceTime instead?! We agreed and 3.30pm rolled over and still no FaceTime?! He then got a SMS saying and I quote “Sorry mate was on the couch as everything was spinning. Might not be good today.” From a customer’s point of view, this isn’t our issue - this shows unprofessionalism to customers waiting for a service to be delivered..we waited a week...the right thing to do is to send someone else? We had waited a week, that is more than enough time. It's completely unfair - we’ve done the right thing by your process to only be let down not once by him calling 2hr before he’s meant to be at our house BUT then again we he promises a FaceTime call, which then did not go ahead.The next day, he calls and says I've a got a quote for your house

Rupesh installed a new installation today and was extremely professional, responsive and polite. He ran through the process very thoroughly whilst clearing any doubts we had and explaining everything very well. His service was excellent!
