Toongabbie

I hate this place, the area feels, looks dirty and smells awful. I also feel like I'm being stared at by everyone. I only have to come here because I live in the area. I wish I didn't have to come here but it's the fastest way to get around that isn't by car.. If the trains wasn't late.

Multi coloured Community and various foods Court of Eastern, Asians, African and Westerners mixed. It's beautiful

I am unsure why he does this but on 2 different occasions the train guard has told people that they can't tap on so they miss their train. On the first occasion I was behind a mother who had put $50 on her opal card. I jumped into the conversation as politely as i could to correct him in a friendly way and he rudely stood in front of me and talked over me. I managed to jump in more rudely lol & help the lady that time but today I heard him doing the same thing to a different mum who had been in line in front of me as I was in a rush for the train. She had $6 on her card which is enough to tap on but she missed her train being 'informed' by him. Why does he do this to these unassuming mums haha....? what a whacky guy...i find it comical tbh but just a heads up to all mums to ignore him and try to tap on before adding more money. (Hey at least he doesn't hit on/say inappropriate things to teenagers like the toongabbie station guard from back when i was in high school.)

Serves as a transport hub for the Toongabbie community. Ramps and lifts are available.

Love this ghetto place with lots of shady people, and the last trains from Sydney Central station are way too early and not regular enough to nd from Toongabbie.PROs+ newly built station: nice and clean+ fast ticket machines+ accessible to wheelchairs soon (or by now)+ cover from rainCONs- super slow trains: almost as slow as thr Luis tram in Dublin, Ireland- trains from Sydney Central leave around only once very hour after 9pm- dodgy place- train timetables are not at straight forward as in Europe

Quite easy train connection station for subarb and not crowded

Station badly needs an upgrade, no train schedule display screens, no ramp or lifts to platforms - prams big problem. Looks really old and rundown.

The T1 and the T5 Lines go through here with it being 4 platforms. It’s a really nice station and a local station which can take you to the city direct however unfortunately with it not being a main transit stopover station it is not direct and can be quite a pain to transit to your destination without going through different stations (for example during the day you need 3 trains on 3 different platforms just to get to Olympic park) however it’s a really good station, modern and has lifts for those who need it.

This station has recently been refurbished and added a new lift for disabled access. They also decided to keep the old ramps. This station looks so much better compared to 4 years back, and a lot of work has gone into this. Not every train stop here and reasonably safe station.

Very busy little town traffic is so bad almost all the time I think there is to many tall residential buildings for this little town to handle and they just keep knocking down older houses to make way for bigger and taller houses for the end profits without care about the congestion it is causing at all the local shops and on all the surrounding roads pedestrians cannot even cross the road properly and the traffic lights for the pedestrians takes approximately 6 mins to change overall it’s a good little town but way over crowded
