Highly recommend Dependant Electrical. The workmanship by Jason and Cody was brilliant. Jason is such a pleasure to work with. Friendly, on time, cleaned up afterwards and even offered further advice and assisted with a computer issue I had. I will definitely be getting him back. Hard to find great tradesman like that. The appointment was was at 11:30 am but the first electrician came only at 02.00 pm. This wouldn't be a problem at all, however the prices was almost double of my expectation. We bought the heating element. They only needed to install it and replace some old wires. Another electrician was going to do that for $200, but he was available only next week, while we needed it to be done before the weekend.It a text message sent to me Jason (from Dependent Electrical) quoted price from $150 up to $250, which was all right with me. However, it looked like one of the electricians named John wasn't professional at all. He came earlier and wasted a lot of time on contacting Jason on any minor occasion. That the job didn't progress at all until Jason had come! Indeed, 2.5 hours (this is how I understand the invoice) was more than enough for one electrician to do the job, why should we pay for two, given that the second one was completely useless?!I did pay the whole invoice amount of $459.39, as I don't want to be blamed for trying to avoid paying, but I will hardly recommend this company and will hardly use it again.Responding to your reply. Again, time wasn't really an issue, as long as the job is done and the fare is reasonable enough. To be honest, I realised that it will be over $150, as the heater is rather old. However, the water was drained, the element was purchased. I did my best to make it easier for you and cheaper for me. Another company wanted $500 including the cost of the element, which was too high for me. Actually it costed me about $700! The electrician who wanted $200 for the installation knew the place well as he changed the fuse box in June last year.Changing the element is really straightforward work. Well, some testing were needed, I guess this is done for any property, so you should've expected that while quoting the price. The wiring from the fuse box was all right, the only extra work, which you probably couldn't expect was replacing small wires to the heater which is 20 minutes maximum even for one electrician. Really the prices of the invoice is much more that anyone would expect.All the best to you and the company. Next time, please think carefully about choosing your working partner. I won't be surprised to learn that this was his first electric job ever. ;)

Jason provides a great, professional service. His electrical work is of a very high standard & at a reasonable price, he was friendly, punctual or keeps you informed of any delays. We have used him twice now & can highly recommend him & Dependant Electrical.
