Onyx Elite Performance

Not yet a member, but I've been down and met the onyxfit team. Definitely signing up once I'm all cleared from work and doctor, they cater for FIFO workers better than any other fitness professional I know!

I visit here since this appears to be the place for local powerlifting comps that one of my family has actively been involved in this sports for 20 year's+. For me being a novice, nice to be exposed to a different sport that I have very little knowledge about. Thank you for the opportunity.

Onyx gym was a large part of my life when I was in Perth. I was lucky to find it by accident but then was a member for the best part of 6 years before relocating east. The ethic of the gym is driven by the owner Jay who knows everyone's name and quick with a laugh, but don't expect a posers gym as the foundation is the Mai Thai fighting and its 'work hard and don't complain.' And I mean really hard. One memorable Saturday session the metric was that the class would end after two people threw up. They welcome everyone from all levels and backgrounds and the trainers are great people. If you are after a genuine no frills gym that is not one of those impersonal fitness barns, then sign up. This review sounds like its written by a relative, but I assure you that this gym has spoilt me for anything else.

Fantastic gym! Trainers really know their stuff and there's something for everyone from your cardio freak to the power lifter!

Exit fee of $100 was explained when signing up and in black and white when I signed . Make sure to read the fine print and note it is a huge 36 month lock in contract with no exit .

Best you will find in Perth.Started with Jay in December after being told surgery was my only option for a back injury sustained. (3 prolapsed discs and nerve compression)4 months down now and training relatively pain free. 2-3 times a week and running/walking with no real issues.Not sure where I'd be if I hadn't made the decision so do this.Cannot thank him enough!Met a great crew of inspirational people and made some life long friends :)

Gr8 boxing and all round traditional gym . Try the 5 or 6 pm workout classes , wow, tough class , sore the next day but if your looking to get fit quickly, do a few of these babies every week.
