Have stayed in better motels.Luxury price, large paint damage, chips, worn doorways.Heated indoor pool, indoor temperature the same as outside temperature 10-15°Indoor public pools are better.

Lovely staff at reception and a really easy check in process. Great parking facilities too.The rooms are not at all how they are advertised. They are not modern, fresh or bright. The corridors are dimly lit with paint coming off the walls and very dirty carpets. The rooms are a great size with an enclosed balcony however the linen is poor quality, carpet is stained and old, the door was covered in rust along the rim and the bathroom smelt of sewerage.Unfortunately would not recommend this place for a long stay but for 1-2 nights it's doable.

Good overnight stop for us on a dreary, drizzly drive from Brisbane to Sydney. Nice size one bedroom apartment. Very anodyne and a bit dated. Nice to have a warm pool for a morning dip. Location seems to be more about overlooking a beach - so not as close to shops and cafes as I'd have liked. Decent parking helps.

Amazing hotel with beautiful scenery and not far from everything you need. Right across the road is the beach. Can't ask for more. Oh wait did I mention the indoor pool is beautiful.

Special mention to the front desk ladies Melissa and Emma Lee.Melissa, and the other young lady, were very friendly and helpful throughout our whole stay.Emmalee was able to provide extra information for our next destination.Also special mention to the very friendly cleaners.

Booked the room mainly because of the hot tub advertised, got there and the hot tub was out off order and there was no notice off this before I booked it, tv remote didnt work either, other then that was very neat, tidy, great location and view, staff were friendly, would stay there again but ide definitely ring in advance before booking

If I were able to give less than a one star review I would.The toilet is leaking, furniture is dangerous and has been “repaired” poorly absolutely disgraceful. Staff were dismissive and rude. I will not be bringing my family back here.Rating 0.1 out of 10

A really nice nights stay at The Observatory. Lovely room with nice views to the sea. Great to be provided with good size bath towels . Comfortable bed. Lovely receptionist.

Best of everything here! Across the road to the beach! Front of counter staff were brilliant. Friendly, helpful and full of information. Great rooms. Ours with a beach view, pool etc, etc. Restaurants nearby. An easy walk to everything..You cannot better this one in my books!!
