Sir Edgeworth David Memorial Museum
Great local history with such passionate volunteers always keen to show you around and have a yarn.I came to volunteer at the museum towards the end of high school and was blown away that such a neat little gem was hidden at the back of my high school and yet I had never been inside! (Though since, the museum has relocated to Abermain, a beautiful space with a rich history of its own!)I think everyone from the Hunter should visit the museum at least once. And if you visit I think you will be pleasently surprised with what's inside - there really is something for everyone. The Hunter has a rich history and it is in great hands.

Very nice people care about all the stuff they get for the museum from people of Kurri Kurri to show the history. I had a personal guide who answered me all my questions. I'm happy I've been there and thank the lady who spend so much time with me.
