My kiddo’s been getting her hair cut by Jasper for a few years now at Captain Darling but we were super stoked to welcome this new venture to the neighbourhood. I’ve always appreciated his focus on empowering kids to own some autonomy through hairstyles - it’s priceless.In transitioning from longer hair to a bob she was a bit unsure about whether to continue growing out her fringe or go for a bob + fringe combo - Jasper encouraged a wait and see approach and emphasised the option to pop in for a quick fringe trim if she decides that she’d prefer that after adjusting to the larger transition.Oh, and the space is also super sensory friendly and happy to adjust to any specific needs.If you can’t find parking on Albion, try Waxman Pde - I’ve seen too many folks sideswiped on Hopetoun Ave to recommend it.
