Onga Pump Sales

Onga WON'T HONOUR WARRANTY.I bought a pool pump in March 2021 from Pool and Spa Warehouse online, got it installed in April 2021 and it stopped working in December 2021, eight months after installation. I called Pool and Spa and they said Onga will call. Onga called four days later and sent me to Crowel Benson workshop for it to be looked at. I took the pump to the store as instructed. A day later Onga called and refused to honour the warranty and said the pump melted so I must have mishandled the pump by running it when the pool water was low - which is absolutely not true!! Our pool is serviced by a technician from a pool shop and our water level is always above the skip. It's very unfair to suggest negligence on my part!!When I informed the Onga staff about complaining to ACCC she was cut and rude, 'You won't have a leg to stand on, the pump is melted!'
