Holy dooly there's lots and lots of people and cars. Like a highway, keep a good eye on kids running across the beach....don't forget the police and the speed signs!!! Also get off double island at the point well before high tide! Also getting on the ferry sunday afternoon might take 3 or more hours so just settle it. New portaloo requirements get checked by the rangers....so make sure you bring your own toilet.

Great place to chill out, people need to take there rubbish with them, bins are supplied up and down the beach it's not hard.

A naturally beautiful area. Great sunrises, usually an excellent beach, and plenty of camping areas. Even stormy skies look good. Dump point, and water available at Freshwater. Unfortunately there are those who spoil it by leaving rubbish, mutilating trees and driving too fast.
