Salon Express

I experienced racial discrimination, I was booked for 1pm but was made to wait until 2pm. Other clients came and were attended before me. The staff ain't trained/experienced in doing african hair but they accepted to do my hair anyway. I realised staff kept avoiding to do my hair and at some point I got up and was ready to walk out when one staff came and attended to me. It took 4.5hrs which was ridiculous. I got something different from what I was looking for, got substandard service for 278$, laureen blow curled my hair while not fully blowdryed, din't moisturise my sculp and took my hair pictures without my consent. I think everyone deserves to be treated equally. I wouldn't recommend.

Went to the barbershop at Salon Express Carousel. I’ve been waiting to get a haircut for weeks now. Every time I go somewhere it just hasn’t seemed inviting or too busy and long waits. I walked in here this morning and loved it from the get go. Very professional and good cut. Friendly staff and good vibe all around. Will definitely be coming back here.

Really REALLY impressed by Salon Express Cannington and specifically Lauren! I came in with a pretty difficult colour job in mind and Lauren and another staff member really put a lot of genuine consideration into their approach of how to achieve this for me. The result is awesome, I'm so happy with it and Lauren was just the sweetest. Due to my limited availability she even took herself off the front desk to make sure this could be done for me that day, and done well. Loved my experience here, by far the best Salon Express I have been too and will continue to return for sure :) Thank you Lauren!

There's one guy wearing a cap in the men's area; he's very approachable, and my kids are so happy talking to him. I forgot to ask his name, and I can't wait to bring my husband too since he's only available on Sunday.

Absolutely ruined my sisters hair. Gave her something completely different to what she asked for, and then tried to tell her that she got what she wanted. Spoke to head office and waited two weeks to hear from the salon manager, who never called us back. Went back to the salon to get it fixed and they outright refused, and then refused a full refund; only a refund of $37 for the hair cut when we paid over $350 initially. Have gone to a different salon to fix it and it looks a million times better than what the inexperienced staff at this salon could ever do. Would never ever visit this nightmare business.

Price gouging at it's finest.So months a go I payed $89 for a wash , trim and blow dry .Next few months later the price went up to $104 for the same service which I thought ok cost of living hitting businesses I can understand prices going up and just today 10th May $109 for the same service WT .I had asked the reception lady about the different prices and all I get is the prices have gone up and depends on the length of hair.My length of hair is not long it is short .I am like are you taking the mickey? What a price hike every week or month ?. You guys are taking advantage of customers and not only that that standard of cuts even colouring and also rinsing out the colour is below par .I just went to Valentino's and they looked at the length of my hair and said I had short hair not long and they're fee's are $80 for a trim wash and blow dry . So explain to me why your prices are so excessive and then taking advantage of price hikes..never will I ever be a client to this horrible buisness.

Got a fade and line up from Nadeem, best barber in town been a while since I’ve found someone who can actually properly fade, really happy with his work. Salon express got yourself an artist with the clippers and also a regular customer.

We just got in for a kids cut -$22 on the board at the front. The barber asked if we want a line on one of the sides but never mentioned there is an extra cost. We ended up paying $33.50 for a regular kids cut done with clippers mainly!Strongly suggest you think twice bode you enter!

Would not return to this salon ever….Didn’t get what was asked for…..or even close to it….poor not professional.Charged twice as much as any other salon.Then we had to pay another salon to fix this ones mess.Manager not interested in rectifying bad colour or the totally uneven haircut…..customer service non-existent.Felt they had the money, so then to hell with whether we were happy with the job or not.Plenty of other salons to pick from.
