Thermawood Retrofit Double Glazing VIC

I cannot recommend Thermawood highly enough.Not only is the product fantastic and retains the period character of our house, but the team from Thermawood Boroondara were amazing. Massive thank you to Hector, Sam and Kuks who are so professional and responsive. No issue was too small for them to address and they came back several times after the job was finished to fix little things. If only all tradesmen were this good!There is a massive improvement in the house after installation. It retains a stable temperature whether it is hot or cold outside. We didn't need to run the aircon at all over summer and we are expecting that we will see a big reduction in heating over the winter. I just wish I had engaged Thermawood years ago.

I have had my Thermawood Retrofit Double Glazing Gippsland installed for a week now and I couldn't be happier. Michael, Liam and Dale have done a fantastic job. I was amazed at the professional set up to do the work. They worked hard all day to finish the job in the day. They were professional, polite and took great care with their work. Thank you to the Thermawood Port Phillip Retrofit Team, Natalie, Esteban, Chuchi and Gabi. I got my 1940's St. Kilda, Ground floor apartment Kitchen and living room windows done and the difference in coziness was instantly noticeable. Right from the initial consult and quote , i felt comfortable and assured. The promptness and follow up and the lovely install team who fitted these windows in 1 day , on the shortest and coldest day of the year were exemplary. Looking out these new glass windows is so much clearer and fresh and from the outside little has altered in the appearance and aesthetic of the block. I look forward to a cheaper power bill next quarter.

Highly recommended!Our works involved:- renovating an existing period double hung (included retention of the original stained panels and conversion to double glazed)- replacement of an aluminium framed window with a new period style timber framed double hung- repairs to some partially rotten framing- all windows covered to double glazing (22 panes total).From the initial enquiry with Joel, the quote measure with Andrew and the installation by Mitchell and Nigel, everybody was an absolute pleasure to deal with.Prices are very reasonable, the quote and pricing process pain free and communication was excellent on the run up to the works with regular checking in and confirmation of the date installation was due to commence.During installation both Mitchell and Nigel were courteous, polite and respectful, keeping us informed throughout of what they were doing and tidying up after themselves at the end of each day.Workmanship is of a high quality and I have no hesitation recommending Thermawood to anyone looking to install double glazing.We have since booked Thermawood to paint all our windows.

The install team arrived sharp at 8am. Without hesitation, immediately began the work of dismantling & installing double glazed windows.
