SEQ Paragliding

Completed the PG2 course with Josh. It was an incredibly challenging but rewarding experience. Would highly recommend! Josh and the team were fantastic and really instilled in me the confidence to fly. The sense of community and Josh’s passion for teaching and flying means the fun doesn’t stop after the course is completed. Looking forward to flying more with these guys in the future. I can absolutely recommend SEQ Paragliding! Joshie is not only a very sympathetic person but also an awesome instructor and incredibly talented pilot! I am so glad I met him and got to learn from him! The tandem I did with him was also the best I ever had! It does not matter if you are a complete Newbie or already a pilot, SEQ is the right address when it comes to great adventures. It goes without saying, that Sunny Coast is also one of the best places to be for that! Go and fly with SEQ!

This was the best experience of my life!! I will absolutely be coming back. SEQ was absolutely perfect. Anna was amazing, she made the booking process effortless and easy and Josh was an incredible pilot! He made me feel safe and comfortable while sharing his passion and blowing my mind up there! ***Must Read till the END!!***I recently had an incredible experience developing my paragliding skills from an amazing educational institute SEQ, and I can't recommend SEQ highly enough. Here's a review based on my experience:From the very first day, the institute insisted on strengthening our basics and focus, which was crucial to building our confidence. We spent a lot of time on ground handling, which was extremely helpful in getting us ready to take to the skies. The trainer and support staff were very informative and experienced, providing us with all the knowledge and skills we needed to succeed.One of the most impressive things about the institute was the attention to detail care during the initial flights. The staff always ensured the safety of the students, which made us feel very secure throughout the entire experience. They also chose appropriate fly sites based on the experience of the students, making each flight all the more exciting.We were provided with good and new equipment, and we spent a lot of hours getting practical flying experience, which helped us develop our skills quickly. The theory sessions were also incredibly informative, and we were introduced to a wide range of paragliding resources.The institute even went above and beyond by informing and inviting us to fly at various sites along with them, which helped us gain even more flying experience. And if we missed any classes or weren't comfortable with our skills, we had the option to join and learn from a new batch.But the experience wasn't just about learning how to paraglide. We also made lots of memories and took lots of photographs, and we made lots of new friends to hang out with. The team dinners and lunches and celebrations were also a great way to bond with everyone and create a real sense of community.Overall, I had an incredible time at this institute and feel like I learned so much. The experience was unforgettable, and I can't recommend it highly enough to anyone interested in paragliding. Thanks to this institute, I now have new skills, great memories, and a community of people who share my passion for flying.

SEQ paragliding is the place to go!I firstly had the chance to go for a tandem with a very experienced pilot, Joshie Tie. Safety is onboard. Hold on because thrills are guaranteed! The only thing you need to do is relax, enjoy the time and the breathtaking view you are lucky to have.The PG2 course brought me so much as well. Day 3 and you are in the air on your own ( maybe only 1 meter from the ground but it still count as a flight right ? :) ). These 9 days were just incredible. You have to learn how to manage your emotions, how to trust people ( even though it’s not really hard to do with the safe environment the SEQ team is building from day 1 ), how the sky works,…The hardest part of this journey was probably saying goodbye to this new family…

Joshie and the crew at SEQ provide a safety focused team oriented learning experience that makes people feel welcomed into the sport of paragliding and excited/confident about the future.SEQ will try and immerse you as the student in as many different flying environments as possible such as coastal and inland, that equips the student with a respect/understanding for the dynamic nature of weather.I found that SEQ focus on positive feedback catered to the student, that when paired with the homely Headquarters truly creates a rare and great learning environment!

Seriously awesome!!! Joshie took me on an adventure for my birthday... after observing the fun at Pt Cartright I knew I had to get a tandem flight and it is something I'll never forget! That feeling of your feet leaving the ground and the freedom of flying is something I highly reccomended everyone experiences (not just once, I'm keen as to go again! ) Josh is incredible and a very talented and experienced paragliding pilot - he makes sure to bring the thrills and fun :) I couldn't wipe the smile off my face - I'm so impressed!

I recently completed the PG2 course with S.E.Q. it was one of the best experiences of my life, I took the oppertunity to stay at HQ , Joshie and his amazing team made me feel like one of the family from day one, if you want to do something exciting and life changing and become part of an incredibly friendly and supportive community them give this a go, I'm looking forward to getting back in the air with these guys at every available opportunityLoving flying Tony Martin

10/10 - Life changing.We all know what it's like to look at the sky, and the birds, and wish that we could set off and take flight...The truth is, we can, and it's so much more accessible than I ever believed!Walking into the PG2 course, many among us had never so much as done a tandem flight; committing just to that wonderful childlike vision of flying. 9 days later, it's paid off like we never imagined!Joshie and the whole team have created SUCH a fun, welcoming and exciting culture at SEQ, you will never want to leave!From day 1 I was impressed by how the course was managed and delivered; structured and cohesive, but flexible enough to the dynamic/changing weather conditions to get the maximum out of every day!The course was super engaging, exciting, and at times quite challenging - from the full send days out flying, and even the theory sessions, which I honestly welcomed; we're only human after all, and we do need to stop and chill a bit sometimes.Instead of some monotonous PowerPoint presentation of mind numbing technical jargon, this was highly engaging and thought provoking.There's so much I could say about what an amazing experience this was, but honestly, you just have to experience it for yourself!Walk into the course as strangers, and you will leave as family. After the course, you've got so much support as a new pilot, and you're part of one of the most epic communities around.#seqfamforlife
