Hanericka Farmstay

It is the best place i have ever stayed, it is full of fun and so many activities to do.It is a great family and friendly environment.I recommend anyone who is looking at booking there defiantly do it.From Connor

Lovely place to get away from it all, farm animals to see close up, amazing sunrise and sunset, museum house is full of history. Great place for extended family to holiday together.

Wonderful place to unwind with the family with Amanda's family, making us feel welcome! Would recommend anyone visit and challenge you not to relax!

I would never recommend this place to anyone!*The kitchen is not at all hygienic, with animals, kids &guests wandering in &out, not washing hands, not washing food etc &a total lack of OH&S practices.*The bedrooms are not well cleaned &bed linen like doonas &blankets aren't washed &often long waits inbetween getting rooms prepared.*Animals are NOT well cared for and many are neglected &abused, have diseases, &cruel animal care practices are used here-especially the rabbit, guinea pigs, chooks, goats, sheep, ducks, geese, turkeys, roosters, fowl, camels, horses, alpacas etc.*Outside toilet/bathroom is rarely cleaned.*Children are neglected! Given rubbish sweets and food that's not suitable. The owners children care for the kids-occasionally*Food is incredibly basic with most things out of packets-like reheated frozen peas &lack of variety.*Very wastful practices used with allot of plastic and not much recycling like using plastic cups/plates etc.*Very little freshly cooked healthy food available.*If you have any dietary requiments then forget it as they won't consistently cater for you throughout your stay.*Woofers are literally worked to the ground doing at least 10-15+ hours per day with very few breaks, not given their own room with an ensuite &often moved from one room to another or into the noisy family home with 5kids so have virtually no privacy or peace and quiet enjoyment.*Lack of structure with meal times and activities*Kids activities are limited!

We and three other families, all with young children stayed at Hanericka in Nov 2014. We chose Hanericka based on recommendations from two other families who stayed there before. They were not wrong, everyone had a fantastic time. Amanda the owner and our host was fantastic, took so much care to ensure everyone in the group was having a good time. Home cooked meals, round the clock activities and entertainment in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. All the families want to go back again!!!

We have taken our two boys here many times now through their childhood and we love it! It’s a really holiday, away from cooking and cleaning. We can just relax and enjoy the fresh country air, beautiful scenery, big spaces and all that farm life has to offer. Can’t wait to go back and see Amanda and her family again.

Been here multiple times throughout my childhood and was always incredible. Owners are lovely and extremely helpful ensuring everyone has their perfect stay.

This place has given me an extraordinary experience in my life. Various cute animals(especially the baby lambs), friendly family and their five children will provide an excellent farm experience to all visitors. I strongly recommend it to those exhausted from busy city lifestyle and wanting a special kind of getaway. I would love to visit their family and animals again next time my schedule allows.

Couldn't have chosen a better experience for the kids.. feeding the animals each morning, enjoying campfires at night etc etc.. so much to enjoy and soak in.. a great wind down for the adults too!! We'd come again in a heart beat!!
