Dropped off 6 pairs of boots in various states of disrepair, some were absolutely trashed. They were ready in under a week and cost around $500 all up, which may seem expensive, but they had completely reconstructed some RMs and other valuable boots to such a high standard that it's a fantastic investment. I wish I'd taken before pics to really demonstrate their work but you can see the end results are great. Their professionalism, friendliness, knowledge and skill are unrivalled in my experience in Sydney. Thanks guys!

I bought Mens thigh high boots from Rick owens that I paid $4500, but they were too tight on the thighs. Rod did an amazing job and added a leather piece to make it wide. Looks very professional. I’m glad I brought it here. The staff are also very polite.

Who knew that in 2023 shoes can still be repaired rather than replaced? Professional, fast and friendly craftsmen.

This place has become very unkempt and untidy over the last few years, but don't let that put you off. The shoes they sell are great quality and the repairs top notch.

Staff member accused me of dishonesty when taking shoes back to them for re-repair when their repair job failed. They said I was trying to get a free repair and there was no evidence that I had previously brought the shoe to them, which was due to their own poor record keeping. Will not be returning.

Extremely rude mediocre repair guy (and customer service lady) who got angry at me, -yelling at me, a customer- for requesting to fix his poor choice of materials for sneaker lining which was like hard cardboard like material, and me questioning the sizing when I was not mad at all. Verbally abusive angry guy and rude woman for backing him up, and in response they lost my business.Will never be returning ever again to request their services or buy anything, no matter what.

I’m absolutely thrilled with the shoes that they sell here, and the quality of the shoe repairs. A much -loved pair of high heeled strappy sandals had broken, took them to my regular guy who said no way, he couldn’t fix, as he felt it was the shank (piece of supportive metal inside ) so I phoned McHughs as i noticed that they manufacture shoes. Sure enough, within a few days my sandals were repaired, good as new, yes it was the shank that needed replacing. Hubby purchased a pair of leather shoes to wear to work, they are excellent quality and a fair price and broad enough for his wide foot. Sweet corner shop and parking right outside. They also have a shoe stretching service - now that’s cool- so you don’t have to break in new or tight shoes yourself. Delightful service, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
