Wandoo Heights Nature Reserve
My wife and I were delighted with the multitude of wild flowers on our visit in the second week of spring. There is a profusion of colour. This reserve is close to Perth and has some delightful bush tracks for walking. The bush is virgin and it is quite a treat to experience it. There are many birds for the bird lover. The terrain is quite steep on the long walkbut taken slowly it is not overly challenging. One needs a key from the city of swan for entry. No facilities in this reserve.

Beautiful unspoilt walk...people saying signage etc and money spent would be good...leave it alone ! A quiet place for now...and very relaxing...

Very enjoyable walking through this area. Seems some parts are reclaimed farmland. Pathways clearly used by horse riders. Will visit again.

Nice unspoiled and uncrowded, worthy of government investing in a car park, signage and a marked walk trail following the beautiful creek that meanders through the area

No signage at all on the trail. Most of the trail section was not shaded by big trees and it felt hot during a 22c day. The trail seemed to have been frequently used by the equestrians by having loads of horse remains along the trail and made the journey incredible unpleasant and smelly.

Exquisite hidden gem - a rambling but mild hike. You have the impression you are in the bush as it was 300 years ago. The flora and fauna are intensely beautiful as is the brook that winds through the tracks. A place for true nature lovers who will respect it.
