Be prepared to be fleeced or blatantly ripped off...He tried to quote me $2800, when we asked for our car back he wouldn’t put the wheels on until we paid him $728 for 4.5 hours work!To clarify that’s no repairs done at all.Aggressive and a liar.Went to a legitimate professional mechanic who was aware of his reputation. He arranged for the work to be done for just $275. Yep! 10 times less.Please read all the google reviews before going here as he is a registered LVT.We have contacted ASIC, RACV and VicRoads not that they regulate rouges like this-only consumer affairs can step in at this stage. The reviews say it all. No respect for women, bayside locals or their industry.

I knew this family because their children were at school with mine. Our family took multiple cars here for years. They had always been expensive but I assumed we were getting good service.We stopped when they over charged by more than $200 on a battery. I eventually got my money back but haven’t been game to check what else they over charged on because I feel stupid enough as it is.Will never return. Will never recommend.

After asking to fix my VE Commodore air con (re-gas), faulty alternator and squeaky brakes, these highly unsavoury rip-off merchants quoted me about $2000 (for all three items).So I told them only to fix the brakes (expecting say $4-500 max) but got charged $900!! - just for rear brake pads and rear disc machining! They charged an extra $4-500 ‘diagnostics’ at $95/hr to tell me what I already told them... my air con and alternator doesn’t work! Yes I know, I told you that!Oh and they gave me a quote for an extra $2000 worth of unrelated works! On my billable time!Don’t set foot here, and stay well clear! - if you value your hard earned money, and don’t appreciate getting taken for a ride... extremely pissed-off, will never return and will be forwarding this supposed mechanics details to consumer affairs!

Do not go here. Quoted $3900 and paid $1400 elsewhere

My tyre blew out right in front of their shop they stopped everything to try and help me out! could not be happier with the blokes down here they fitted my tyre back perfectly and let me swap to my spares in their carpark using there tools.Needless to say there was beer exchanged as well as payment for their great work and help!Thanks guys!-Lachlan

Avoid this place at all costs! Charges extra for oil ($20 per litre) which came to around $120(same oil can be bought at Super cheap auto for half the price) every other place I have ever been the oil is included in the basic service fee. Rips people off by lying about what the car needs and doesnt need, and like thats not enough is very rude, I believe he has some sort of hatred against woman..

Q: How many mechanics dows does it take to change a tire? A: 3 of his best men apparently! I saw my car sitting there doing nothing for 50 mins.He charged me $180 for it cos he said it took an hour! When i questioned it yelled at me aggressively and threatened not to give me my keys. Just a terrible cheat of a buisnessman.

Avoid this place!!!I took my car there over the past year for a few issues. The first visit I was shocked to receive a $1900 bill! But Fair enough he must of fixed the problem, but no I had the car for a week and it had the same issue that it had before so I went back and was charged an extra $1000. So all in total $2900!!! Afterwards my car still wasn’t fixed!! It had the same issues as before! So I went back and he told me he doesn’t know what’s wrong and wouldn’t give me a refund after I’ve spent $2900 on a car that was never fixed!!! Told me to just keep driving cause when’s it broken it’s easy to fix... Which is so unprofessional.So I kept driving and sure enough my car was still was not working.Took it to a different mechanic and they had my car for 1 day and fully fixed it for $700, It’s been 4 months now and no issues at all!I’m so upset that this man took all my money and did not fix anything!!!! Even my mechanic said he didn’t fix anything!!!! AVOIDI just don’t want other people having to go through what I did.Spend you hard earned money somewhere else.

DODGY. The company should not be doing roadworthy certificates. I purchased a 2nd hand car which had a roadworthy signed off by this service. The roadworthy is not right and there is a fault which obscures vision in the car. I gracefully took the matter up with him and he denied there was a fault. The fault is undeniably visible. I then took the car to three other services whom all agreed this should not be roadworthy and could clearly see the fault. I stayed calm and polite however he cut me off and walked away.

Chris from Bluff Road Autos is such a straight shooter - he diagnosed the problem with my car and gave me a rough cost estimate. I bounced this of a motor head friend and he confirmed the problem and the solution was exactly what Chris had recommended. Bluff Road Autos fixed my car, I got my roadworthy and feel confident I did not pay one cent more than was absolutely necessary. I highly recommend Bluff Road to friends and relatives. Very happy.
