As a woman in her 60’s, have not come across such an extensive range of gorgeous clothing I could purchase, just wish my budget was bigger! Lovely helpful staff, came away with a wedding outfit in 30 mins, very happy

Once again, simply having a look around this store is treated like a crime. It's part of a beautiful hub in the heart of the Aldinga Village. I'm a local, yes. But tourists visit this little corner of our world frequently. They can wander through Maxwell's Grocer (amazing coffee shop), Goodlife Coffee Co (another beautiful coffee house)...and other places like The Little Rickshaw (bloody fantastic food and service if you're looking for it BTW)...as well as a micro-brewery, hobby shop, a newly renovated pub, pizzeria, a good old fashioned rustic steak house...the list goes on. All of these places are more than happy for people to stick their heads in, have a look around, and decide if maybe they'd like to come back another time and become a patron. After a bad experience at Miss Gladys (my children collectively had $5000 to spend, but after being made to feel like common shoplifters, simply for looking around, took their money elsewhere) I thought I'd give it another chance...hoping we'd just got a bad salesperson that day. But alas, I encountered the same woman (not you, groovy jumpsuit-wearing, short, dark hair, fantastic glasses lady....you know who you are—and you have ALWAYS been fabulous). Once again, this woman (I'm not going to physically describe her, but any of you out there who have gone through the same experience will know exactly who I'm talking about) followed me around the store...literally two steps behind me. If I stroked a garment to feel its texture (without disturbing it in its display) she would sigh, pull the item out, refold it, and put it back on display. I felt, once again, as though she was chasing me around the store. When I stopped to consider an item, there she was, staring at me. So, I decided to go into the city and buy my sister-in-law a $500 birthday present from another boutique. I'm not trying to be negative here, but I've heard from many people (who haven't posted reviews) that they feel the same way.Miss Gladys By The Sea: you are amazing. Your location is amazing, your clothes are amazing, most of your staff are amazing. Please educate this person. Teach her how to give patrons time and space to contemplate their potential purchases. And, if she happens to be your boss, don't tell her (she doesn't seem like the kind of person who could deal with that)...but perhaps kindly point her in the direction of this review.Much love to you all. Awesome place. Fantastic friendly staff and a range of shoes, clothes and accessories you won't find anywhere else

Miss Gladys has everything for men, women and kids from clothing to shoes, hats to scarves, music to .... well you get the idea. Cool environment with different rooms set up and a casual, relaxed and hip vibe to the experience. Staff are happy to help but not intrusive.

If you're looking for something special; clothes and shoes then this is the place for you. Devine options, and great service....Worth the visit

The shop has a pleasant display but the lady (maybe the manager/owner?) got some rude attitude. It gave me an impression that if you don't want to buy anything, get out of the shop.
