My father passed away recently aged 90. He had some minor health problems as well as middle range Alzheimer’s. The care at Uniting was attentive and dedicated to keeping him settled and peaceful. He settled into the respite facility and was happy as a lamb. The Doctor and Head Nurse Joan were outstanding. All of the nurses were wonderful and always shared stories with me of their interactions with him. They called me just before he passed and I got to say goodbye to him over the phone. My mother got there in time to say goodbye and tell him how much we loved him. He passed away peacefully, quickly and with dignity. I won’t forget the experience of excellent care and information he received. This meant a lot to our family.
