Got our kids a pet rabbit today and we needed a hutch for it. Now they don't have room to have all things displayed so just be aware of what you buy in a flat pack, we got a hutch and when we got home realized it wasn't one that you can remove a try and clean it, it's a full wood base that's stuck inside and you can't clean. We had to spend more money on another hutch and will use this one as a day time hutch

Gail and Steve are very helpful and probably have the largest and most unique variety of freshwater and saltwater fish in Bendigo, along with everything needed to maintain and feed them. I love my blue turq snakeskin discus which Gail kept aside for me until I was able to get my water parameters suitable for him. As discus can sometimes do, he took several weeks to eat, which was probably more stressful for me than him, but during this time Gail was happy to provide advice on what to do, including even giving me some different foods to try and offering to set up a tank for him so I could bring him back to the shop so that she could try get him eating. I didn't need to take him back, he got over his shyness and is now doing very well in my community tank.

Amazing staff the fish are so healthy the prise is a bit high for fish but people need to realise the fish are healthy and aren’t the easiest fish to find in aus

Very Helpful staff. Nothing is to much for them. Very knowledgeable and will always go above on beyond to make sure my pets are getting the best possible treatment. Have been going to these guys for years and I absolutely wouldn’t shop anywhere else. Thank you for your years of fantastic customer service!

I highly recommend fish 'n' feathers over places like PETstock they are so much more knowledgeable and friendlier in every way. They helped us with our smelly fish tank issue that we only had as a result of wrong information given to us by staff at petstock

The staff are great but the prices are insane. 2x the amount of other pet shops even from online breeders. Who have cleaner and better well kept fish. I want to shop here but I can't with prices that ridiculous

I’ve bought from fish and feathers a couple of times and the in store experience wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. Staff seem disinterested and come off as a bit rude.I purchased two rats and both of which had upper respiratory infections which I later realised. It was also quite unsettling to see how the staff handled the animals. Very rough and clearly stressed the animals out.I also know someone who has purchased fish from fish n feathers with worms, unknowingly at the time.Living conditions of the animals are not great. Crowded, unclean small enclosures and cages that do not accomodate the animals basic needs. The animals are obviously not receiving adequate care.Staff need to be better informed about the animals and how to take care of them. However, if you are seeking to buy an animal from any pet shop it is also your responsibility.But it is fish n feathers responsibility to sell you an animal that is healthy, well looked after and has been kept in acceptable conditions.I don’t like to say this about a small pet shop but fish n feathers you need to do better.
