Came here today to get my second covid vax, which I booked 8 weeks in advance, and pharmacist says that they aren't giving any shots till Saturday. When I told him I had to be double vaxed by Friday for work, he shrugged me off. He did not apologize at all for the mistake and was completely apathetic, and just said, oh no one called you?" It's really upsetting that nobody bothered to call or confirm my appointment

The staff have been most helpful on my local trips to purchase pharmaceuticals. When an error occurred and a product was returned, I was most impressed with the service received and attention to detail during the process. The pharmacy prioritized safe, efficient, extremely competent and caring service.

Pharmacist was helpful but older lady, Wendy, who owns the place was rude. For someone who’s running a business:1. Do not assume or misjudge customers for their appearance2. Learn not to be rude and dismissive.Well guess it’s hard to teach someone manners at this age. Time to hang up the white coat and go home!!

Usually go to Pickford's round the corner but collected an item from the post office so thought I'd give it a go. Waited 25mins for a prescription, people who came after me were getting there's quicker. When I then saw the price of one of my medications I questioned it because I knew it was way too much. They took it down in price. When I got home to check the price of my other medication, it was $10+ more expensive and the same medication brand! Shame on you Amcal.

Approached the gentleman following a fall with large graze on my arm. Disinterested, told to apply the dressing out of the shop not offering to help. Will never set step there again.

Undoubtedly the rudest pharmacist I’ve ever dealt with. Dismissive, spoke over me, was telling me that he couldn’t help me because he didn’t know anything about the medication I was taking. When I tried to explain anything he would just speak over me and he told me to go to a different pharmacy. I wanted to ask a simple quick question and he was so unwilling to help it was mind boggling. Coming on here to leave a review I’m laughing at the sheer amount of negative reviews. How does this guy still have a job?Have been in there before and usually the women on the floor are very sweet.

Come for professional allied health care, stay for the baseless accusations of theft and actively unhelpful and insulting staff. I tried to be a loyal customer here because of its convenient location and a couple of nice pharmacists on staff, but after repeated incidences of being treated with unwarranted suspicion and rudeness over a period of eight years, I have finally given up and taken my business elsewhere.

All the negative reviews speak for themselves.It's obviously not just me.This place is shocking to deal with.Rumours have surrounded this place for a long time. From charging full price for medicines & switching those medicines for the cheaper generic brands & deliberately messing up people's vaccine appointments but being able to arrange an easy hassle free appointment for a price. I've personally had several problems here but I know of several others also. There's 2 reputable chemists just around the corner in Elgin Street, Carlton & I highly recommend checking them out.At least those other pharmacies have ethics.
