Lovely little affordable accommodation. Most importantly, Joe and Annette (caretakers) are absolutely lovely and will go out of their way to make your stay and trip hassle free.Would recommend!

Stayed for 7 nights recently beds were comfortable linen was clean and that was it cooking utensils had to be washed before use as were dirty also in a very bad state of repair ants everywhere cutlery put away not very clean other villas n cottages had a nice table n chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view of the harbour we had a mouldy settee and a torn lounge for the amount that was paid expect alot better

We were having a wonderful time until the owner knocked on our door at 7.30pm on our last night requesting payment. We have never encountered this method of payment before and felt it was a complete invasion of our privacy. The owner needs to organise a method of payment prior to arrival, as is the case in 95% of accomodation stays in the world. This method of payment has tainted; what was a very pleasant stay, into us questioning whether we would stay here again.

We had excellent communication from the property, prior to arrival and Check in was easy and smooth. The Managers are very responsive and only too happy to assist, with any queries.This is a beautiful property that caters for everyone, from couples to families.There are great cottages overlooking the playground and the bay, which would accommodate families. The location is lovely, right on the bay - and very convenient to access tourist spots, and the City. We had a spa suite and this was wonderful for 2 people, very clean, nice decor and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Lilac Villas for a holiday. We will definitely be back.

We stayed her with our 3 kids in a villa. It's such a great spot a bit out of town but still close enough to run in to grab groceries or dinner. We got lucky being able to see the new years eve fireworks across Frenchman bay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

Very clean and Neat. Quiet location with spectacular views of the bay. . Close to town. A handy play area for the kids to run around. It was handy having a bike path nearby so we could all ride our bikes into town. We will be back

excellent place to stay. we were in cottage 10 which had a large balcony facing the water. interior was spacious, clean and supplied everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. hosts were very friendly and would recommend this place without hesitation

Pros - Good Location, a little way out of town with lovely water views. Play ground and BBQ's. fair value for money. Comfy beds and clean and comfy living areas.Cons - Didn't see the managers the 5 days we were there, i didn't mind this especially at check in because i had a very grumpy toddler in the car and was able to grab the keys and go. My partner is 6'4 so could see dusty surfaces such as top of the fridge and bathroom ledge that us smaller folk cant see :)Albany is such a beautiful place it would be great to see some photos of local places or local art on the walls in the accommodation. this would add a bit of personality to the accommodation.Play ground needs a bit of love, would be good to have something for smaller children/toddlers such as a swing with a back to it.
