KC Dry Cleaners Toowong

Took a suit jacket in for spot removal of a stain on the front panel. I took it in on a Monday, they told me it would be ready Thursday evening! 3 days, really? Picked it up Thursday. The stain is still there although they did manage to lighten it for me, bless them, but now it is also creased. So, as a result of paying $17, I got a stained, creased item back. Asked for my money back and the sales assistant got a bit snarly...actually, very snarly. Got my money back, reluctantly. Not going back there again.

Just a warning...1 jumper cleaned will cost you $15!!Utterly ridiculous prices when everywhere else is $8-9 for a sweater. That's my first and last time for Peerless Toowong. The old lady seemed to have a bit of an attitude as well. Not very polite at all.

A $300 dress ruined by Peerless Dry Cleaners Toowong. No warning of the risks of damage that could occur to the dress before I handed over my dress and money, but after my dress was returned damaged and my money had been taken, I'm told that I should expect this type of damage every time I dry clean the dress. The dress was sent away to be assessed and I was told to expect a call from head office with an outcome; the call never came. Instead I had to chase up head office where I was told that the information I had been given was incorrect, they had never intended to call me, and that they were taking absolutely no responsibility for the damage they had caused. Rude, unhelpful and incompetent. Don't risk sending your clothes to Peerless Dry Cleaners.

Handed in a suit on a Monday and was told it would be ready by Wednesday. Arrived on Thursday, and the suit was not ready, and wasn't even at the Toowong store. Had to wait until the afternoon and then pick it up from the Indooroopilly Peerless. No apologies or discount offered.

Paid to have my suit dry cleaned after some alcohol spillage left a stain. It was clear so not a heavy stain. Suit came back and stain looked no different. After bringing this to the attention of staff I dismissed and told dry cleaning is not a guaranteed service. I thought that was an absurd excuse to fall back on and asked them where in the store or on the receipt does it say Peerless Dry Cleaners may not actually clean your stuff.

Terrible experience after $400 worth of shirts were returned with huge green stains all over and were unwearable.The staff at the Toowong branch had a real attitude issue when I brought it up (essentially blaming it on me despite this never happening with any other dry cleaner and it only being specific to the shirts they laundered) but promised I’d receive a call back on multiple occasions, which didn’t happen.I finally received a call from the regional manager a month after the incident happened who said they’d checked their process and there was nothing that could have caused the damage so they wouldn’t take any responsibility for it.Far be it for me to state the obvious but this is a catch all excuse that could be used for any damage they do to any garment. The shirts were ruined on their watch and no responsibility was taken.Strong recommendation to avoid, if something goes wrong (and looking at reviews I’m not exactly alone) you’ll get no help.

Worst dry cleaning ever. I dry cleaned a white dress and my partners suit pants here and wish I did not bother. The suit pants came back with 3 thread runs like they had been caught on something, and my white dress was returned with blue streak marks down the front and back. Items were also not pressed. Would not use this dry cleaners.

Just had my suit and pants dry cleaned. The suit jacket was covered in mold and everyone kept telling me to throw it out. Peerless saved me $500! and dry cleaned it. Looks great. Friendly staff and it took about a week turn around (I did specify I had no intended time frame requirements, so they may of done it faster if i had asked). Only cost me $35. Very happy with the result. Only gave 4 stars because of time frame (shorter time would of course be better) and that nobody is perfect.

Took a silk shirt here that had been worn once but had managed to get faint sweat marks and received a really long chat aboutbhow 'maybe they should wer wash it' and I'll have to sign a waiver to allow them to etc etc but it was technically possible to just try and see how drycleaning goes and then will get a request to wet wash when it doesn't come out.. Great. Said I would be happy to dryclean and see and by the time I left, realised I had given my details and phone number, received a pick up ticket but no pricing. Ok, no matter, had to get done before the mark set and didn't have time to shop around. The two day turn around came and went and the following day dropped in to be told that they don't msg people. So if you want something done, then it needs redoing, you have to drop by and resubmit the clothes? In any case, no note requesting to wet wash and $19 FOR ONE SHIRT (!!!) later I took it home. Have since found that there is discolouration under the arms. Will never ever return to Peerless. Had issues with the Indooroopilly location many moons ago and this experience just reminded me why there's no point paying the huge premium when the quality doesn't match.

They did not remove the small tiny grassy part I asked to remove. Will never use their service again.Make sure to ask them how much they are going to charge you.I was thinking for my pants I will pay maximum $ 15, but they charged me over $30. I
