HiFi Guru is now my AV partner and has been for over 12 months. Before working with HiFi Guru, I relied on another long-term partnership for over 15 years, so changing AV partner was not a trivial decision.I expect a partner to provide me with proactive maintenance, setup and optimisation, and proactive advice on replacing items when they are end-of-life or when a new technology or standard is viable.What I like about HiFi Guru is how they spend time understanding my needs, my annual budget for AV products and how I use them. They work alongside me to deliver the best solutions that work given the constraints I have, such as budget and the acoustic properties of the rooms I use. They also work with me on my roadmap for the next few years, which can change as new technologies come onto the market or my interests change.They have a specialist for two-channel systems and another for home theatre or multichannel. Their two-channel guy is also an expert in vinyl players.They have gained my trust over this time by doing what they say they will, offering complete solutions, and taking the time to assess the rooms and address the acoustic issues.

Ben did a great job servicing and upgrading my Technics SL1200 turntable. He is very skilled and knowledgeable and I’m very happy with the sound quality I’m getting now.

Ben and Simon initially assisted me in selecting and installing a complete Hifi and home entertainment system downstairs in our new home. The Gyro 'SE' is not only a brilliant performer it is also visually stunning. I was so thrilled at the result that Ben has also rebuilt my 43 year old JVC turntable and revamped my existing sound system in our upstairs lounge. I have been a Hifi enthusiast for over 44 years and have not come across anyone with such a wide (but also esoteric) knowledge of the industry.I would not go anywhere else for my products or advice!

Ben provided an excellent service on my Michelle Gyrodec. Disassembly at my home, service in his workshop & reassembly back at my home. My cartridge was worn out so he gave me the opportunity to listen to different types of cartridge at his workshop so I could replace mine at a price that suited me. He has extensive knowledge of all hifi products & I would definitely recommend HiFi Gurus.

Ben was excellent…his knowledge is second to none..i sent my Thorens turntable to setup…wanted to upgrade my stylus & he patiently set up various stylus options for me to hear …also guided me through accessories we take for granted like vinyl mats & audio cables….boy oh boy my system vinyl sound is unbelievable now…so glad i found this gem of a business…thanks again Ben.
