Don’t go to this shop, they are rude and misleading, they set a kiosk near David Jones to sell Christmas gifts,which looked attractive. I saw a picnic mat with nice colour but it didn’t say the dimensions, so I asked the sales lady about the dimensions, and she told me it was 2.5*2 m which was what I was looking for! I paid for it and as I was leaving another costumer came to the sales lady asking to return her picnic mat as it was small. Then I opened mine to see that it was very small ( May be 1.2*1.7) if that!I returned to the lady explaining to her that I was misled and I want a refund as I bought the item literally 5 minutes ago. The lady declined and only offered exchange or credit or to talk to the main store. I went to the actual store and I was advised the same thing!! And the Boss said it’s written on the receipt (no refund),so we suppose to know that no refund AFTER we buy!And she said there is a note behind the cashier to explain that! The note was filled with small writing that you can’t read from a distance and was no note in the kiosk!!I had to leave with a credit card, so now I have to go back to buy anything to spend this credit.I was misled, sold item with different specifications to what I was told and no refund!!!Ican’t believe that this happened in Australia!

Shop has a great range but always feels like they are running out of space.Don't come here if you are claustrophobic.

Very bad service experience. Been asked to pay 20 cents for plastic bag.Only because I wanna gift in separate bag. If you sell them one by one, will you use the bag?If you cannot do it, please talk to your customer nicely Other than saying it is a WASTE or cost shop's money?Anyway, not good experience considering I would spend hundred bucks today.I bought gifts last year in their shop as well. Now I won't come back because they think plastic bags are too expensive! You could have told me in a nice way, I might just pay for all.

Terrible experience with this company. I bought a Christmas decoration from their Carindale pop-up store. The item is a little replica telephone box with a Santa inside. Glitter spins around in the water that's filled the telephone box. The fan that spins the water and glitter around is faulty and makes a clicking noise constantly. I tried to exchange it two weeks after I bought it (Christmas 2021) and they told me they don't have any stock left and to come back next season. I went to the Carindale store today (03/12/2022) and the woman that works there was insanely rude. She told me that exchanges that far out from purchase are against their policy. Then she changed her mind and said it was ok. Then she plugged the item in to test it works and when it turned on she laughed at me. I then tried to tell her it was the sound it was creating that was the problem, not whether it turns on or not. She couldn't hear the sound because we were in a noisy shopping centre. She started to become aggressive with me and told me no exchange would be possible. I left with no solution. Do not deal with this company.

AWFUL customer service by two girls working here! Sold a gold teapot and cup & saucer in a box without first checking it's condition. Careless no time" attitude even upon sale.. it should have been a warning sign. When I checked at home

This elder lady in this shop today, I need to file a complaint against you. This is so awful that I think I will need to speak to the manager. If you can’t tolerate the stress of sale then don’t work during sales period.. as I told this elderly lady at the counter this item seems defected she pulled away the item, threw it on the side and shout “choose others“.. is this how you treat your customer? Will never be back. Please train your stuff what is customer service instead of being just rude.

This is a great little gift shop - there's usually some interesting items that make nice and slightly less run of the mill gifts. Some very pretty decorative items and pretty cups and saucers that have to stop myself from buying. I always try to take a quick look here when I'm in Garden City and have been visiting for years. I was surprised to see it had such a poor rating... I've never had a major problem with the service that I can recall, it's generally been fine. They have some pretty good sales on certain items too.

We love the store. We love what they sale but some items are priced so high and some are priced really well. I am aware of the imports and exports really well. I also like to comment regarding their customer service. The girl whom worked on Sunday the 29th of October had very poor customer services. wouldn't like to help at all. didn't bother to check the price of an Item we wanted to buy. Prey much we left the shop empty handed.

Gifts for you, Shame on you. Such a rude sales and customer services. Pay money for buying a “gift” of coz I will ask for wrapping. Not willing to wrap even to pay extra. Never go back, thanks.
