Caring team, nice facilities

My mum is in there in a secure ward. She's not supposed to be in a secure ward. The food they serve is absolutely disgusting and my mum hates it. She has lost so much weight while in there. And they won't allow us to take her out for a break. Horrible place

Brought my mother-in-law who lived independently from Toowoomba to Carina nursing 4 months ago.At 92 mum has been cared very well in a lovely refreshed room meeting all her needs required. She is now going to the gym, joining in activities and been on a delightful bus tripVery happy for her

Worked here for over 7yrs and loved it. Excellent nursing home .

Went in for an interview that was advertised for a EN, had to wait over an hour to be seen, waiting in the lobby, hearing the staff in the staff room laugh and talk while I wait and wait, no apology given for me waiting a ridiculous amount of time also. The interview went well.. I answered every question I was asked but obviously projected that I was nervous as anyone would be in an interview. fast forward to a week and half later, I still had heard nothing, had called the facility multiple times and been shrugged off and I knew my references hadn't even been contacted. I then receive a letter in the mail saying I was not successful in the employment process.I find this facility and the people I dealt with, specificially (Jayne and RN Bkatuwal) to be unprofessional and did not give me a fair chance as I made it very clear in the interview and when phoning up that I would love the opportunity and I knew myself I was qualified to handle it due to my previous experience in Aged Care.I also think that sending out a letter to let you know you're not successful is poor form as you don't get any clarification or feedback as to what you could improve on and why they did not want to hire you.
