My wife is pretty disappointed with the avo toast. Underwhelming, lacking something fresh eg tomatoes maybe? Waited 20mins so she’s not happy it wasn’t worth the wait.Other than that, the chai latte and my calamari were pretty good.

Great little Cafe close to Mortdale station. The wait staff were prompt in taking our orders & before long, our food was on the table. The coffee was very good & everyone enjoyed themselves. Keep up the great work guys.

Had sat morning breakfast at 9am, just before the hustle and bustle began. Great lighting and mood, with a great street view which helps you feel like you're really in the heart of mortdale.friendly staff , food was deliciously tasty and coffees were definitely on point! would he coming again. !

Sugar Salt espresso is located in southern Sydney, close to the train station in Mortdale. In a suburb filled with an array of multicultural restaurants, this cafe is the only one of its kind. It’s the perfect place for a top coffee or a weekend brunch.We visited on Mother’s Day and naturally this meant it was super busy! We sat outside, but well looked after by the wait staff. The cafe had a lovely surprise, giving all the mums there a flower! How sweet. They also had ‘Mum’ donuts which made it a special day for the mums there. They had even arranged another special surprise for a mother, when her son returned from the army to deliver her coffee!Despite the fact it was totally packed out, the food did not come with a long wait. The chef was extremely efficient and food came out quickly and beautifully presented.It was a super cold and rainy day so we got some warming dishes. The eggs Benedict with truffle hollandiase sauce, and your choice of ham, bacon or salmon (we chose ham), and some asparagus and greens, it was a lovely combination of flavours.We also had the smashed avo with poached eggs, pomegranate and the sliced almonds were a nice touch.We enjoyed our visit and appreciate the good service and hospitality.

A number of people have invited me to this cafe but I just haven't been able to make it. I am very glad I finally got there. Love the decor. There is seating outside. Service was very personable. Our lunch orders were as described & well received. The coffees were to our liking. We lingered for a couple of hours. Definitely would return.

Really delicious food!!!! We popped in for a coffee and the food smelt so good we ordered brunch! Best cafe Greek/middle eastern fusion food in Sydney!

Love our neighbourhood bistro. Food and coffee is amazing and on point. Staff is friendly and the cafe has a good vibe(also warm in winters). There is also ample street parking nearby .
