We visited in late January for Welcome To Whisky. How fantastic when whisky arrives in your glass via barrels descending from the roof. Every penny well spent, plus they got more than the $99 from me as they have a whisky retail store in the bar and some very convincing team members. I walked away with a few accidental purchases. Well done The Still!

Huge selection of gins and whiskies. We had the cocktails including the Negroni and old fashioned. Top presentation, crystal clear ice cubes. Great service in spite of the place being pretty busy on a Friday night.

We walked in and were impressed by the visual atmosphere. We were the only people in at that time. Unfortunately, the 1 staff member that was there was unable to find a single smile and barely spoke to us. She was so unwelcoming, bordering on rude, that we walked out after only half our party had ordered a drink. She barely looked up as she said goodbye.

Awesome joint, definitely one to check out! We did the Gin Flight Tastings which were great, but there was a huge selection of whiskies too of course. The staff were super friendly and nice - can recommend!

Amazing bar recommended to us by the people at Lark Distillery (as Lark only do whisky tastings). Felt like 50 pages of whiskeys just from Tasmania which was incredible. Had a flight of 3x 15ml Lark whiskeys for $45 which is pricey but normal for Tassie tastings and tried some other whiskeys too. The ambience and super broad selection of whiskeys were the highlight. Other drinks like beer and G&Ts are available too. Would recommend and revisit.

Amazing bar - great drinks and super friendly staff. Snacks are tasty too. Highly recommend if you like whisky or gin, but they have everything else as well

Definitely recommend this to do while in hobart. We couldn't make it to Pontville so did the whisky tasting here, very informative and one could see the passion in what they were doing.

Very relaxed setting at this time of day / 5pm.Amazing selection of spirits. Went the Lark flight and cheese plate.Flight was delicious - not a bad whisky anywhere. And at $43 for 3x 15ml shots you would expect nothing less.Cheese plate was a little agricultural and tasty.

Amazing staff and great selection of gin. We ordered a cheese plate to go with whiskey and gin tasting paddle. Booked Saturday evening but the place wasnt crowded at all. Had a memorable time. Cant wait to revisit.
