PICAL is a wonderful place to go for help. Or to learn or to put back into the community. The staff/volunteers are really nice and as helpful as can be.

PICAL, is the helpful heart ♥ of the community, the volunteers and teaching staff are kind, caring, helpful people who make you feel feel welcome and the library is my favourite place.

Excellent opportunity for those wishing to study. More of the community needs to support places like these who have the ability to provide unique training opportunities in a welcoming environment.

This place is filled with beautiful volunteers who happily try to do their best to make you feel worthy and appreciated.

Great community work, meeting place for groups, needs improvement on the building inside and out

As a tutor at Phillip Island Community & Learning Centre,I can't emphasize enough just how important community centres are to their local community. Pical educates, supports, assists, mentors & feeds a broad and eclectic range of people who may be socially isolated or economically challenged; homeless or disadvantaged; needing to upgrade skills; returning to or, looking for work; and seeking social support and leisure activities.PICAL runs an adult education program; fee for service courses: women's support services: tech & office support services and a much appreciated food pantry. PICAL's range of services provides a cohesive social fabric which supports its local community and particularly its most vulnerable members.

Emma (previous facilitator)was such a professional at the same time friendly and welcoming - sad the she has left. Pical plays such an important role for people who might be struggling to get back into main stream work or people who may be feeling isolated and need support. May Pical maintain this vital community focus for so many.
