A book store is so rare, and Scrumptious Reads is a fantastic space to find beautiful culinary and lifestyle books, where you can relax, browse, and read. It also sells great locally made gifts and gourmet food, and surprise! A beautiful art gallery downstairs. The event space hosts food tastings, art & cooking workshops, author talks and dinners. Do not miss their Cookbook Club Dinners! A real gem in Brisbane more people should know about!

An absolutely gorgeous bookshop that’s clearly managed by a person of high standards. I spent a delightful hour here and came away with some of the best titles I’ve ever found. Gorgeous bookstore, such a beautiful space to be in, you can tell the community gathering activities must be really special in here, can't wait to get into some of them! Great selection on books and also very good prices. Lovely staff, will definitely be coming back!

We had a very pleasant time here on Saturday morning. Lots of lovely books and gifts and cards and knick-knacks to browse thru. Julie the owner is a friendly and helpful lady. I managed the scary spiral staircase to check out the Debra Hood art show downstairs. Such beautiful artwork! They have a cookbook club also. Beautiful paper cutouts over the windows (for sale!) Set in a lovely old Queenslander house, you can happily spend a lot of time (and some $) here! (Only gave 4 stars due to lack of disability access; not anyone's fault but still ...)

Awesome centre of a great community of food/book lovers. Knowledgeable staff, and fantastic service. Definitely visit if you want advice on that type of cooking you always wanted to try, but didn't know where to start :)
