One of the most efficient experiences I have had at a car rental company. Booked my car online a few weeks before arriving in Newcastle, arrived at airport, car was waiting, no questions asked and away I went. Same for dropping off the car, a very trouble free process.My tip for anyone would be to take the time to sign up to Europcar's privilege scheme. Definitely takes the hassle out of renting a car from them!

My name is Joel, i don't normally write reviews or give feed back because i think good old fashion customer service has gone out the window.On the 29th Sept 2016 i called and hired a car, but when i got there the car wasn't ready. The young lady that serviced me named Cathy was very apologetic and then went out of her way to ensure that i was comfortable.. Gave me a bottle of water and once again ensured that i was at all times not inconvenience.I changed my mind the last minute and upgraded the vehicle i wanted to hire and it wasn't even a drama even after the car i had originally hired was cleaned and ready to go.i know this review doesn't really show the effort Cathy and Jodie went through to keep me comfortable and the little things they did but i can re assure that the service i got was a 5/5.well done ladies..

Andrew was very pleasant and obliging when dealing with him over the phone and his colleague at the pickup/drop-off desk was very welcoming and professional. The car was very clean and in good condition. A great experience overall with Europcar Newcastle Airport.

Europcar at Newcastle caused us a lot of stress and nearly ruined our holiday - we were running late for a 10am pickup, so we tried calling at 9.50am to try to let them know. Nobody picked up the phone and when we got to the service desk at 10.15am we were told they had given our pre-booked car and car seat away and there were no alternative cars for us to hire. We ended up catching a taxi to Maitland as the lovely staff at Thrifty tracked down a car there for us. I’ve never left a bad google review before but I really think this needs to be shared so others don’t end up in the pickle we did, due to their terrible service.

Europcar are back in the game. Seamless 1 week hire of a car (I was upgraded). Good service. Great rates.
