Very, very honest. Both the husband and wife team that works there were very friendly and professional. I noticed the elderly customer before me had a problem with his watch and was sure it was something mechanical and an expensive fix. The owner, Darren whom I later met had a close look and discovered it was only the battery. He then went on to advise this elderly man that that’s all it was, and kindly fixed it for him free of charge. He also kindly informed him to be careful not to be taken advantage of at other places as it was easy to do in that situation.My situation was a lost garage remote which I asked him to replace and paid for. Upon arriving back at home I then found my missing remote, rang the store and asked for him to cancel the order, which he did without hesitation. This is another example of their honesty and highly recommend their services.I can see why they have been at that location for 17 years. Great store, lovely people. Thanks

Had my wedding ring engraved from them as it was recommended by the jeweler themselves. Asked to write dates and it looks horrible! Would recommend to definitely stay away from them if you want any engraving done

I Highly recommend Mister Minit Watergardens, Taylors Lakes for all your key, shoe repairs etc needs. The staff go above & beyond to help you. Needed new key controls for a Commodore VY. Not only did the owner Darren help me out he went out of his way to walk me to my car making sure all worked perfectly. Awesome service friendly & with a smile.

The workers at Mr Minit are absolutely amazing and super friendly, they help me with all my services and needs at a reasonable price and they get things done at a fast and efficient pace with great results!! Amazing recommendation. Awesome top quality products. I went there for a leather conditioner to repair a bag with low expectations of rejuvenating it fully, but the leather conditioning products are amazing and I was so thrilled I called back to let them know how great the results were. Highly recommend the guys at Taylor’s Lakes!

You're always going to have bad reviews but I've only have great experiences from this Mister Minit. In this instance, I needed a specific watch band that was no long being made or sold. After months of research and asking around, I came to this shop and was prepared to accept a less than ideal looking watch strap. The tall gentleman (I'm sure was the owner) offered me a solution that completely exceeded my expectations. It looked almost like the original but most importantly, I was able to wear my watch again! I was so happy. He even offered me advice for a jewellery part I was searching for. I am grateful for his understanding of my situation, genuine friendly service and resourcefulness. A value to our community. Next time I'll just come straight here.

Absolutely dishonest. Just left the store after dealing with the owner. I am actually a regular customer so given how he has treated me I'd hate to think how he would treat a random customer.I purchased a watch band from him for my Garmin watch last week to tie me over as I had ordered some quick release watch bands online and was planning on going back to him to remove the one I purchased from him, so I can install the new watch bands on there (quick release means I can swap over bands myself).He asked me to leave it and come back in 10 minutes, which I thought was odd as it was literally a 1 minute job to remove one band and put another. Clearly he didn't want me to see what he was about to do.When I received my watch, he had put the bands on but taken one of the quick release pins out and replaced it with a regular one which means now I have to return to him to remove it which defeats the purpose of a quick release band. He charged me $10.I noticed this and mentioned it to him and he denied it had a quick release pin, and that it was a regular pin even though I checked two or three times before I came to him.If it was in fact true that one of the watch band pins was not quick release, any decent person would have brought it up to the customer to let them know because now I cannot swap out my multiple bands I purchased. Instead he hoped I wouldn't notice. If he had told me up front and gave me the choice I wouldn't have let him put the band on.Very dishonest. This was a blatant attempt to force me to keep coming back to him. Now all he has done is ruin his reputation and a relationship with a regular customer all over $10. Disgusting.
