Awesome and delicious food. We enjoyed our vegetarian meal. Would go there again as service was equally good.Mango lassi was really made nicely!

Lovely ambience and decor. Been there for couple of times now. Every time been welcomed warmly and CS is good. So far whatever we tried was delicious. I think it is going to be our go to Indian restaurant.

I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and elegant decor. However, what really made the evening special was the incredible food.Chef Nurul, who I understand is the head chef at the restaurant, truly outdid himself with the delicious and authentic Indian dishes that he served. Every dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked.

Went to One8 for a lunch party and it was fabulous. Great attentive service, delicious authentic indian food, lovely atmosphere. Some standouts were the tandoori platter - chicken 65, tandoori chicken, tandoori paneer....perfectly done. Loved the goat curry, very authentic. Environment very pleasant too. Highly recommend for a meal or a party booking!!

Absolutely amazing food!To start with the decor and ambience - One8 restaurant had a really casual and welcoming vibe. Service was quick and courteous with staff welcoming us and checking on us throughout the night. Food was to-die-for and the presentation was excellent. I would extremely recommend trying One8, a heart winner..

So when was the last time you had a really nice Indian food at a restaurant? If I ask you this question, I am sure you might take some time to think about it, as this days the Indian restaurant’s are too many but the quality ones are rare. I am very happy and proud to say that today we had an absolutely wonderful experience at One8 restaurant in Ashwood.To be honest, before I came here, I just saw their 4.9 reviews which drew my attention.Restaurant Presentation : 10/10The restaurant is not a big place but still they manage to get a decent seating. Decor is nice and the place is lively.Food & Drinks : 10/10For entree we ordered Tandoori Paneer Tikka, Mango Lassi, Masala Chhas, Papadums, Mint Chutney.Tandoori Paneer Tikka : This was one of the nicest Paneer tikka we had in a long time. The paneer was really soft and perfectly marinated with spices.Mango Lassi: The mango lassi was finished for the day and the owner could have asked us to order something else. But, to our surprise, he made it fresh. Impressed with your service Faizal (Owner).Masala Chhas: We would have loved more thinner but still it was delicious.Mint Chutney: You need to try this, perfectly blended and goes well with paneer and papadums.For mains we ordered Kadhai Paneer, Garlic Naan and Garlic Roti.Kadhai Paneer: Very few restaurants make this dish tasty. When we had the first bite, we knew it was another level. Later we knew that the Co-owner is an Ex-Sous Chef from Taj.Garlic Naan and Garlic Roti were really soft and went really well with the curry.Special shout out to Superstar Faizal who looks after the Front of House. You just cannot ignore this guy, full of energy, customer service of the highest quality and really friendly.All in all, we had a great experience and I want to recommend them to everyone who are craving for a good food experience. One8 is a modern Indian restaurant and is one of the best Indian food I have had in Melbourne. Everything we ordered was delicious and definitely would come back. The ambience is great. Courteous staff. Very good food presentation and multiple options for bread. The Rajasthani Bhuna Goat and Chilli Gobi was exceptionally good. Great dessert options as well. Will definitely try Sizzling Brownie with ice cream next time. Hats off to the Chef!

We had family dinner here and we will recommend this restaurant to all. Ambiance was good so as food whatever we ordered was spot on.

Love the fried rice and chilli Gobi from here. My usual order. All though at times the Gobi can have some rather hard to chew bits ( over fried? )The crispy honey chilli potatoes were disappointing as they were just basically potato fries coated the sauces.The chicken 65 was ok this could have used more of a kick in terms of flavour and spice imo.

We recently dined at an authentic Indian restaurant and tried their Tawa chicken, Paneer lababdar, and Rajasthani bhuni goat. While each dish had its own distinct flavor and was tasty, I found them to be a bit dry. Perhaps ordering something in curry would have been a better choice to add more moisture to the dishes.The naan bread, although slightly soft and lacking a bit of garlic and butter, was freshly made and enjoyable.On the service front, the owner (Faizan, If I remember the name correctly) was extremely courteous, welcoming, and humble. I believe he has the potential to make a big name for himself in the coming years.Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and intend to visit again in the near future.
