Glen Ayr Cottages

Stayed in Murray Cottage a with a friend. Cottage was clean and cosy bonus was 2 rooms with queen beds and 2 ensuites. Attended Red Hot Summer Concert at Roche Estate close by and Bill helped us arrange a bus to collect us from main entrance. Surrounds very quite and relaxing Cottage very clean with well stocked kitchen for basic cooking. Will definitely return again.

Lovely Location. Great service. Awesome views and nearby walks. Close to shops and restaurants whilst still being quiet and secluded.

We and our friends stayed in one of the cottages a couple of nights in August. Very cosy, peaceful. We love the combination of the old world’s charm such as beautiful fire place and the modern world’s comfort such as ensuite. The owner was super helpful and friendly. Excellent experience. We are going again. Yay!

Beautiful area, charming cottages and friendly owners... makes for a wonderful getaway from the city. Close to both wineries and supermarkets, hospital, etc. in Cessnock. Perfect. Looking forward to our next visit!

Stayed up there with family and friends for a family celebration. We were in 5 cottages and everyone was happy with their accommodation. Excellent, clean and relaxed accommodation.

I very recently organised and stayed at GlenAyr for 3 nights. 10x60+ yr old female old school friends. We had an AMAZING time and have already booked for the same time next year.Bill was fabulous, making sure we each had our own room and when there was a bit of a mix up with the booking, he immediately gave us alternative accommodation and we now even have some credit for our deposit next year, due to the mix up.The cabins were SO clean and inviting and even though the stunning weather didn’t ask for it, Bill offered extra wood for our fireplaces in case we needed it (we already had an abundance)None of us wanted for anything and there are just no negatives.Some walked in the mornings and loved the solitude (not to mention the hot air balloons from the back deck of one of the cabins)Can’t wait to return in May, 2024 and I know that many of us want to take our partners/friends/family at other times.

We had a lovely 2-night stay. The cottage was clean, the outlook beautiful and could even walk to (and in) a vineyard next door. Will definitely be returning.
