Came here for lunch last month and we were blown away by the food. We had the eggplant involtini, orange scented beetroot arancini, panfried haloumi and crushed chat and they were all incredible! There were heaps of vegetarian options and we can't wait to go back and try the rest! :) The service was also really great! :) Highly, highly recommend this place!

First time we try and won’t be the last. You can tell when the chef is passionate about his craft and this one has it in bucket loads. We had the Seasonal Sampler banquet for 2, every plate was more succulent than the other. (Peking Duck was the best I’ve had anywhere)Service was very pleasant and professional and the prices very reasonable. 5 star restaurant at Newtown prices can’t go wrong!

Had the seafood tasting banquet to celebrate my friends birthday. ALL of the dishes were amazingly good and so well presented. Loved all the beautiful artwork on the walls, and the service was great! Could not fault this place!

A delight! Really worth going for both the delicious food, great service and atmosphere. We had the multi dish $60 menu and each dish was well thought out and beautifully cooked. We will definiately be coming back!

Such a lovely restaurant, with a most friendly greeting, our first time at this establishment, Elected a mixture of Seasonal and Seafood Sampler banquets. The servings of duck pancakes were flavoursome, the soft shell crab was fresh, crunchy and delicious, the arancini (orange scented beetroot) were light and fluffy. The panfried Haloumi was cooked in a delicate special way. The baked salmon was very tender and tasteful and the steak ! well its steak. This was finished off with a lovely Rosewater Panna cotta with a pungent sweet sauce, a warm chocolate cake and a chefs platter for two. extremely Moorish.Great service by such a friendly, helpful waitress Vanessa. Well done to the chef and management. We will be back....OOOH, the cocktails were plentiful and we had such a variety it was awesome with the barman sharing the recipe.

10 out of 10 Experience. The food was delicious, made with love and elegance to the point. We were group of 4 people celebrating a birthday and we had two different banquets (Celebration and Seafood) - Great portions and very decent price to the whole experience & quality of the food. Waiters are professional and very friendly. If you want seamless high end dinning experience with affordable prices. Rubyos is your Go-To :) Well-done, please keep it up! We loved your high quality standards and will be back soon ;)

The restaurant is nicely furnished and service is good. A good place to chat over a meal.I ordered the seafood sampler menu which contained quite a fair few dishes. Most the dishes were well cooked but were quite ordinary in terms of their flavour. Could have a more exciting menu but still a decent place to come got a meal.

Ordered the seasonal sampler banquet menu for a large group - service and food was great. I was very impressed by how accommodating they were for special dietary needs. I think the wide price range of the banquet menu, plus happy hour, makes this a great place for large groups and I would definitely visit again!

Perfect restaurant for catching up casually with friends and/or family. Great service!! The grazing plates are great share plates and best company for drinks. Surprised to see so many variety of vegetarian grazing options. We have been for dinner with family. We ordered Moroccan fried tofu, herb garlic bread, smoky black bean and sweet potato cakes, orange scented beetroot Arancini, dessert platter and cocktails for drinks. Overall beautiful experience and definitely going to visit again.
