WHAT A TEAM,In my past life I have been Telecommunications Manager of the Sydney Regent five star hotel and Front Office Manager of other organisations. My work included training staff in customer service and communication skills.I needed my vehicle’s air conditioning attended to and was directed to Baker’s in Dyson Lane, Ulverstone. As soon as I entered the front office I found such immediate attention and willingness to assist, not next week, not tomorrow, but now, that I was completely blown away.What I had originally thought would take days, if not weeks to have attended to was done and dusted and completed that afternoon. This included parts ordered, delivered and installed and tested.Whilst waiting for work to be completed I sat happily and peacefully in the waiting area, working on my IPad, surrounded bya visual display of oceans and cliffs and fish and shells and inspiring quotes and, in the background, the warm, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful voice of Tom, the workshop manager, attending to the many calls in a very busy office.Tom is infused with superb telecommunication skills:immediate and personal introduction, ability to listen and empathise and always positive and helpful.…and then there is James, hard working and charming and informative and determined. Tom introduced James as the one to access the problem and how to solve it and both kept me involved in how this was to be accomplished. James and Tom kept me in the picture and reported on every step along the way.What a team…the good humour, busyness and positivity, and the pleasantness and peacefulness of the ocean in the waiting area,and the fact that all was completed, better than I expected, that day, had me driving home on a hot afternoon, air conditioner cooling the air and my face wreathed in smiles.WHAT A TEAM……..THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Legends! We are travelling through Ulverstone and our car alarm kept going off. We just needed a quick fix to get us on the road again. In under 2 minutes a very friendly mechanic from Baker's fix the issue! Highly recommend!
