A1 Appliance Repairs & Servicing

I recently had an issue with my Miele Dishwasher and A1 were able to do the job next day and at half the cost of an alternative registered Miele servicer (that I had already had to pay a callout for that didn't have the parts!).William from A1 did some extra troubleshooting and found that one of the parts I had been quoted for in fact didn't need replacing!!! Saving me $$$ and at the same time gave me some tips for things to check next time to save a callout! 100% recommend.

Cannot praise these guys enough!! A1 Appliances rescued me from (yet another!) Miele appliance disaster. Luke and Will are gold...they got here quickly (Miele's first available was 30days), all efficiently arranged, diagnosed and re-installed in what I'd say is very good time. They even got me good-will on the parts and labour. Miele jolly well should cough up - 2.5 years is not good enough on a $2000+ dishwasher Made in Germany" (whatever that really means these days). After ringing another company and only being able to book online and waiting for hours for a response I gave up and rang A1. The advice I got was to try to fix it ourselves and save $$$ as it was unlikely a pump issue. It worked and saved us an unnecessary expense. So while we haven't officially used A1 yet we definitely will when we need to.

I have a Miele washing machine whilst I waited 45 minutes on the phone to them to say they couldn't come for a week I was able to get on to A1 Appliance Repairs. Dan was friendly and helpful and was able to do the simple fix on the washing machine (the wire ring had come off the rubber seal to the front of the machine). Same day which was super awesome. I would recommend A1 to anyone for the great service.

Not using this business ever again. 10-11 months ago my Smeg rangehood motor crashed. It is one of the expensive and only 3 years old. I was give a bill for $300-400 to change the capacitator. Ofcourse i agreed with that decision. It crashed again. They said motor has to be replaced which will cost me atleast $1000. I denied saying if they had acted with good professional knowledge and replaced the motor straightway. I refused to spend more. Then for around $600 worth of work my rangehood was replaced with a new motor. I knew straightway it was not smeg. This is just ripping off customers. It was noisiest hood ever. 9 months later the new motor again crashed. Well the technician came again, took my motor away, was super quiet until i had to constantly follow up. After nearly 2 months of total time, i follow up again( in the meanwhile they are hunting for another cheap motor to replace again). I was refunded $385 for the new motor they put in 9 months ago and my remaining $625 went down the drain. Now i have to spend money to buy a new rangehood. They lack professional knowledge and replace cheap quality products. The technicians are not qualified to repair the appliance.

I am very pleased with this company. I have now used them twice. The first time was a couple of years ago when my fridge was having issues. These guys fixed it and it's still working well.I have used them again recently because my dishwasher stopped working. Again, these guys fixed it.Both times the electricians who came out presented professionally and were polite. Their prices are also quite reasonable.I recommended this company the first time I used them, and would still definitely recommend them.
