the grog is pretty good but passed out and woke up in Canberra without my wallet. staff was pretty friendly, Phoebe or whatever her name was fantastic deserves a raise.im being held hostage

Well, isn’t Kodi just the most delightful human ever! What an incredible experience she provides me and my family when we dine here. I can’t compliment her enough for her enthusiasm and genuine nature. Her professional, engaging and cheeky personality is such a pleasure to be around. The food was delicious, delivered quickly and very filling. Couldn’t fault a single dish; fresh, hot and tasty. Thank you!

Murrumba Downs Tavern is a great local place to eat, and the staff are friendly & hard working. Second time we have hired a function room & it was an outstanding experience. The room set up was beautiful, the booking process was easy, the staff were beyond lovely, the food was incredible, the service was amazing, and drinks were a great price. Absolutely nothing to fault!! Thank you to the amazing staff for making the night so simple, and for being so lovely and thorough. Will 100% be booking functions here, and coming back for dinner many times. Thank you MDT!!!

I'll start by saying staff were fantastic and done there job well. However, paid $25 for a snitzel that was the same size as you would find on a fast food burger. The Pasta Carbonara was a serving size from a small Chinese container.Took my 3 children here for a nice meal.and 3 of us are walking away far from satisfied. When your paying $70 plus and topping up at McDonald's next door is absolutely disgusting. No wonder the dining room was empty should have taken that for a sign rite then.

Been here a few times and let down every time. Table service shouldn’t be offered if you can’t deliver. Every time we have had to send food back, steaks over or under cooked (majorly not just slightly) and the grilled chicken extremely dry like it was precooked and sitting under a heat lamp. Slow service even on quieter nights. Don’t recommend, won’t attempt again and would rather norths leagues club or mango hill tavern hands down.

MD tav used to be my go to.We went today had chips and salad, got an unwelcomed surprise when I finished my meal…..a dead fly that was sitting underneath my salad the whole time. Really off putting.

My husband had a parmy and I had a schnitzel. Both were a little dry especially around the edges. The chips were good and the mash n veg were good. Portions were generous. Service was excellent. We'll be back again.

Took my parents for Monday lunch we all had a delicious meal. Steaks and sauces were perfect, Fish n Chips and the Caesar salad was bang on! Great meal sizes real bang for buck! Booth was comfortable with top service too.
